4K. Last I checked no PS4 pro game was actually 4K. It's like HD ready all over again.

The Last of Us Remastered will run at native 4K, but at only 30fps.

Absolutely, yet again people are having the wool pulled over their eyes.

"But while Sony is marketing it as the ideal console for 4K gaming, the truth is more complicated. Rendering 4K games is something that's still tough for high-end PC gaming rigs today. So Sony is giving developers a variety of ways to make their games look better than standard 1080p titles on the PS4, even if they can't quite reach 4K."

Yes GTX 1080s in SLi configuration can struggle in some games to maintain a constant 60fps. The PS4 pro probably could manage @30fps but I imagine that would be unstable in busy games.

Word of caution. Your save game from the physical disc version of the game doesn't carry over to the digital version. Absolutely sucks

2 great game heat

Right, except for The Last of Us Remastered and Elder Scrolls Online - which will both run at native 4K.

Heat for the games. As to 4k, DF do say

there will be full 3840x2160 resolution software. Speaking to Naughty Dog at the event, we were told that The Last of Us Remastered - just like its base PS4 version - will have a 30Hz mode that features enhanced image quality. The existing PS4 game features higher resolution shadows maps and those are joined by a full, native 4K pixel count on the PS4 Pro. This drops down to a lower resolution at 60fps, where we're told to expect improved performance compared to the original release on base hardware.

How many times can I play TLOU. Played on the PS3, then the remastered PS4. I can't bring myself to play it again (or buy it again for that matter - triple dip anyone?). It's time for TLOU 2 - this ones been milked to death now

Is it really milking if it's a free patch ?

No chance the PS4 Pro can play games at native 4K. I'll be interested to see what the Scorpio can do next year, seems a lot more powerful than the pro.

Unfortunately 14 months until we can get one, PS Pro will do in the interim for me as my 9 year old and his mates have finally comandeered my PS4 standard to constantly play this Minecraft online game where they chuck snowballs at each other and fall in fire to crazy music- I just don't know what they see in this.
