when you say every other year, do you mean you leave bt for another provider then go back to them ?

Yep. Just switch every year

Tobcashback - ha ha ha

I am one of many who never got the 205 quid promised 6 months ago despite everything tracking fine.

Save yourself the angst and use the quidco matching cashback promise if they are offering less.

In previous years you could switch between sky and bt to keep costs low by maximising cashback

You can still do that.

Voted hot too my deal worked out at £12 including paying quarterly cash and cheque! Just renewed to avoid price rises but i'm happy with the service tbh

Quickly getting the hump with BT. Rarely meets guaranteed minimum of 50mb. Some nights it's down to 18mb.

Been told a month to monitor the issue before action can be taken?

But I'd rather not have to change my email address every year.

Do what I do then, create an independent email address elsewhere........... Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, the choice is yours.
I'm currently with BT but I've never used my email address with them.

I had the same problem and have jumped ship to plusnet. I was on infinity 2 with a min of 54. Had an engineer visit and test line speed and said that the line I was on had a max of 50mb. Complaint made and compensation on the way for the hassle, so keep grinding at them and complain to ombudsman if the complaint doesn't get resolved within 58 days.

I posted this deal last year and the same happened to me.

Took 4 visits and 5months before I had enough. Went to ombudsman. Got the contract cancelled.

They still tried to keep my line rental before ombudsman made BT give it back.

Customer service - rubbish but then so is virgin
Broadband - rubbish but then so was virgin at the time.

can anyone give feedback on this please? I'm currently with virgin, had numerous issues...main problem is the signal doesn't carry throughout the house...but when I'm in the no-go area of the house I pick up tons of other BT signals...has anyone had issues good or bad regarding signal strength? with the current offer I'm very tempted to switch to BT....

If I choose the BT Mobile sim addon at checkout, could this risk the cashback since there is no cashback listed for BT Infinity + TV + SIMO?

Is anyone having massive problems trying to buy BT infinity. I get as far as the bit that says enter your address and tell them how long you've lived there... then it keeps saying there's a technical issue and call customer services to continue.

However, if I did that quidco won't work so it defeats the purpose.

I have used different browsers, different computers on different networks, didn't re-direct via quidco just to test it and the same result.

That section is used to do a credit check on you. Is your post code new? Or did you type in your address manually (I can't remember if that's even an option) as this could cause a problem, let it find your street name automatically by entering your post code and then just select your house number.
Or maybe you need to be at your current address for 3+ years and the system doesn't support adding multiple addresses to cover 3 years for credit check, which means you will have to call?
