Never seen the point in these. They claim it is for hygiene but you wash your hands straight after you touch the usual dispenser so hygiene isn't a problem.
Probably a stupid question, but do you need to use special soap for this or will any liquid soap work?

Three speed foam, suitable for various scenes 😁
Anyone remember buying similar device for £2.50 couple of years ago?

You can buy foaming soap, I got 5 litres from Amazon for about £10.

You can also use Hibascrub antibacterial soap mixed with water is in mine and foams well.

Possible liquid soap and water premixed too?

Finally, someone who thinks the same as me!

The only way this would be "more" hygienic is if infact you are not washing your hands correctly in the first place.
What's antibilogical?

You mean the dettol no-touch?

Mine kept getting corroded by water getting in lid of the battery compartment and occasionally in the pump switch so they wouldn't know when to stop and I got fed up of fixing them.

So, if your hands are covered in meat fat, or dirty axle grease and bits of metal swarf, how do you operate a manual soap pump without leaving dirty greasy marks on it and how does the next person to use it avoid getting the difficult to wash off grease on their hands when they touch the pump?

Mind you, I usually prefer a bar of soap as it gets washed when you use it

Yes that's the one. Bought a load of them when they were giving £2 vouchers off....Think it was Tescos selling them. Still got a couple in the cupboard unopened.
I've got mine by the side of the bed for some instant night lub!

But what about the tap?

You open the tap with dirty hands, wash hands and then...... Tadaaaaa..... Close the dirty tap with your washed hands so they get dirty again
(yes - the simple folk still have manual taps not everyone can afford airport style taps )

Well, my tap is stainless steel, it hangs out over my sink and is a typical manual lever operated ceramic cartridge affair, with the lever at the front.

So, it is very quick and easy to wash grease and grime off the lever, and the water and detergent drips straight off it down the sink, and as the lever is more than a couple of inches long I can even operate it with my wrist.

So I don't have to pick it up, wash and scrub it, leave it on the drainer to dry and hope the steel spring in it doesn't get water in and rust.

USE LIQUID SOAP OR HAND SANITIZER: It is compatible with various liquids such as hand sanitizer and hand soap, and it is also suitable for dishwashing soap, shower gel, and disinfectant. Large 280ml capacity.

For my one I just dilute normal hand soap with 2-3 parts water and it works great, lasts a long time as well because less soap is used each time. That works out about 30p/litre depending on what soap you buy, either way very cheap and you can use the fancy smelling ones,
What’s the point in this? Once you touch the normal plunger to dispense the soap you then process to wash your hands, so not sure how this helps

Apparently it needs to be 3 speed so could need gears....
