The original film, not the new remake! Just incase people get confused

Calm down with the assumptions son. As per previous post I think you'll find it's the Zavvi page which could be said to be 'designed to confuse'.

I agree, poor form from Zavvi

the names of the films are actually different, be it only by a letter. The recent one was basterds not *******s!

Plus it has an RRP of 12.99 on there :whistling:

Misleading gits.

I think (or at least hope) that's what he means mate. As in Zavvi have done it so a few unsuspecting people will buy the old version at average prices.

Back a couple of weeks ago I was looking around for Inglorious basterds, checked the trailer, it was the new film, but I'd already picked up on the basta(e)rd difference so I checked the cast but it is very misleading and I really do wonder how many people have bought it thinking it'd be the new film.

I was very excited for a few minutes at that price and then cursed Zavvi when I realised.

we got caught out by Tesco, & returned it. Seen a few posts on here like this, one site was even showing the wrong (new) dvd cover in it's blurb.

When you've all finished whining you may like to know that both the first and second words of the film are spelt differently to Tarantino's version. The original film was very hard to get hold of until only a couple of years ago. And you had to import it from USA. It's a good film! Nothing like the new version. Tarantino simply liked the title but also payed homage to it. For the price it's fantastic.

That's not the problem, least not for me and wasn't originally as I picked up on that. However, where the problem comes in is the fact the 2009 Film trailer features on the 1978 film page. The disgruntlement shown through these coments is justified on that fact alone.
