I think many of the cheaper mono laser printers that have around 1,000 page yield cartridges can be had for under £20 quite easily (y)
https://www.inkntoneruk.co.uk/HP-LaserJet-Pro-M15-Printer/ Although I'll happily point out that it's only £32.49 (and 10% off today) for a twin pack. So arguably, better. but the point stands, before buying a cheap laser printer, check the cost of replacement toner.
I can't see a compatible on ink n toner for for £35? The genuine OEM toner is £39 and the compatible is much cheaper... Are you looking at the correct toner? CF244A. Also, the TN1050 for the HL-1212 you mention, compatible replacements are £16 at Inkredible, possibly even cheaper elsewhere just in case anyone buys that deal (y)
Expired. Whenever buying a cheap laser printer, make sure you check out the costs of a replacement toner cartridge. For example, take InkNToner UKs prices... (they may not be the cheapest).... This printer is £35 for a new compatible toner. My current printer (Canon something, was on HUKD a while back, similar price) is £25. There's a Brother HL1212 kit at the moment on this site for £99.99 but includes 5 (FIVE) toners. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/brother-hl-1212w-wireless-mono-laser-printer-with-5-toners-black-333752 Additional replacements are also just £25 too.
