Seeing as you made a mess of the link, and you made a mess of the description, I don't think it's unreasonable to wonder if you might have made a mess of understanding the delivery charges also!

Perhaps you should edit the title to reflect the delivery cost as well.

I needs a new bin so have ordered on your recommendations, no free delivery for me! Hope Iam not disappointed

Anybody know the height of this been showing on there website is for the bin with open lid or for the bin with lid closed. My space for the bin is limited to the height of the worktop (bin need to go underneath) I know they do different size bins but still will be nice to not actual size. Thanks

£30 for a bin.

Some people have money to burn, well throw away.

Have you ever posted a deal? Some of us just aren't as classy as you and don't like the 'black bag hanging on the kitchen door' look.

I looked into these a couple of years ago, but after reading many bad reviews I was put off.

That's cheap for a stainless metal bin - this is a tacky one with a pointless lump of electronics that also requires 4 large batteries....

Good ones cost more:

Omg, £100 for a bin!

They have similar ones in Tesco's in the clearance for £17.00.

That bin will last 10 yrs and if it doesn't brabintania will send you a brand new one and let you keep the old one. This bin will last a few months if that. I've had a few of these cheap touch bins and there cra p.

i bought a similar bin few months ago but i have to say its one of the worst buys ever. 1stly its simply too long for any cheap bin bags so u have to find special long bin bags so its even expensive to use on daily basis. 2ndly the sensor is too much trouble, its just too sensitive as it just opens when u pass by, so i actually have to switch it off when its just half full at times. 3rdly the bin which i have takes 2 D size batteries but battery cover is not strong enough to hold them and they just keep falling in the bin all the time. The only plus point is that it does look quite nice in the kitchen corner! i guess thats it.

similar experience to above, we bought 2 of these bins about 2 years ago for our kitchen, one for food waste, one for recycle... they are too tall and narrow so the bags don't fit properly, so when you try and get the bags out when they are full of crap its a tight squeeze and a nightmare.. you end up with 2 people, one pulling the bag of crap out, the other holding the bin.. and hope it doesn't spit. Also you end up with food and crap all over the inside of the lid, and they take 4x large size D batteries..so factor that in once the novelty has worn off after 3 days.

In the end we threw them out and got some large 50L plastic touch bins from ASDA for a fiver each which have been 10x better and a fraction of the cost.

mother in law had this

was a nusiance

Better spend money on i Brabantia Touch Bin, 30 Litre

6 months warranty...need i say more?

I'm more of a fan of generic 50-75L plastic bin which can be had anywhere for a few quid.

Like I said, crack on, burn your money Mr Classy. If you want to spend that much to throw rubbish into, crack on!

Foot pedal bins are the only way to go for kitchen use IMO. This seems unnecessarily complex.

Got that £100 barbantia one for £33 back in 2007 through this site ...been a great bin...couple of dents after dogs knocked it over few times though

Like I said, you criticise someones deal but you've NEVER posted a deal of your own. This deal may not suit you but others obviously think it's hot.

All credit to the OP and everyone else who posts deals- this site would be nothing without them.

£5 postage... cold!!

Bought similar one 3 years ago, damn its addictive, when you go somewhere else and try to open bin you hover hand like an idiot over it.
Got green bags from Homebase, tall and sturdy.
Mine have electric cord/transformer, also batteries if needed.

please change price in title, Total Cost = £34.99

apologies for the delay in changing the price, it seems you cant edit in the android app.
you are correct £5.00 delivery :-(
price updated.

Had one of these for a year now. Can fit a bigger bin liner if size is your issue. Very useful for throwing stuff away without touching the bin. Just don't put it in a room with an automatic light.. They play games with each other! Recommended though.
