Scorchio!

wow. i bought gigabyte g1 a month back for 393 but this is steal foe this price

Fantastic price.

Good price, but my 560Ti is still plodding along fine - just have to turn the shadows and AA down on a few of the newer releases ...

Really need some games to really push what is needed before upgrading ...

Wonder has this would compare to a MSI GTX970?

heat. loving the price drops but not biting just yet for me! still love my gtx 660ti can't justify payout.

Something in between a 750Ti and a 970 would help me upgrade.

Beautiful, was going to buy this anyway at midnight, thanks OP perfect timing!

so want this... The wife would get upset...

Who's going to tell her?

Heat but still holding out for an MSI or Gigabyte.

How strong is this compared to:

- GTX 580

- R9 280

- R9 280x

Would rather pay the extra £30 for the MSI, but a good deal regardless. Heat.

To the 280X, the most powerful card there, it'd be ~25% better.

And quite a bit stronger at that

Is it worth upgrading from a AMD 7970 OC to this if I've only got a 1080p monitor?

No, not at that resolution.

Nice one poster. Ordered two to replace my 760 SLI setup. Didn't realise my existing waterblocks (670 models cover these too so I don't have to replace my blocks either which should make it an easy upgrade for me. Was dreading having to replace the blocks as they are not something most people will buy)
Couple of quid cashback available too via Quidco - only 1% but it all adds up I guess.

If anyone is wondering this card is fantastic! I have the MSI version and it rips apart everything I throw at it in ultra with 60fps+ And i paid £300 for that about a week ago.. If only I waited..

Why are Overclockers deals immune from needing the postage added, yet Scan deals get hammered into the ground for not including it?

Same here, mate. I want to upgrade, but the games always play fine

Plus £8 postage. Should really be in the OP.

Tempted to get a 27" Monitor in the new year sales, which will likely need a better graphics card to keep the frame rate up ...

£8 + VAT!

It's just annoying clicking through OC's posts thinking the item has free delivery

I did the exact same thing.

if 50/50 to upgrade have a gtx670 power ed atm, no sure if it is worth the extra fps, which is quite a bit, but if the above poster says his 660ti is fine then my 670 should be ok for a bit i hope? hmm confused

I've got the same MSI GTX 670 PE and can run BF4 at 1080P (1920x1080) on high getting around 100fps or ultra getting around 60-70fps, so as tempting as these cards are I just can't justify the cost. If you were gaming at 1440P however it's a different story and worth the upgrade. Just my 2p worth.

I paid £290 for the MSI version. I'm absolutely loving the 1080p ultra @ 60fps experience. Don't regret not waiting because the video card is worth the money. X)

Tempting to buy two as a stop gap.... But I have 10% off eBay Electronics atm, so may pay a bit extra.

Or get R9 295x2 + R9 290x Trifire or 2x R9 295x2, but no idea if anything new is coming from AMD soon, not sure if current AMD range is DX12 compatible.

yep agree I had the MSI 970 deal last week and bought it. I had a Asus 670 before and although I was playing ultra on some games you can really tell the difference in or the extra fps. the 970 should keep me going for a few years to come. great deal on this card,

very nice to see such a great card for a reasonable price, but I will wait for the maxwell on 20nm next year, or go amd if they happen to produce a miracle.

Welp if anyone wants the MSI for £30 extra then it's back in stock at ebuyer:

MSI gtx 970
