Average price is £668.52 so a very good saving. I have this exact same card and it’s a great, slightly smaller than average 2080.
5in stock at Amazon.
Runs slightly less than 70c while playing multiplayer BFV ( I find BF titles really push hardware when it comes to multiplayer) in Ultra, 4K,60fps.

  • Product for demanding players
  • Irreproachable manufacturing quality
  • Exceptional immersion

Exactly. It should be.

They have no competitor. AMD cant make a good high tier GPU to save themselves so Nvidia charge what they like. Really hoping against hope that the new AMD offerings make Nvidia wake up.

But that'a not how value works in this world I'm afraid. Scarcity and supply dictate value, not how good a product is.

Fruit shouldn't be £4 for a medium sized tub when you can get a full warm meal for less.
Great, now when can we expect a sub-150 1660? 😁
12% faster than an aib XT for an extra £200.

Don't do it!

Besides the new XT drivers are brilliant, fixed most of the blackscreening etc.

Can't make a bloody stable mid-tier either.

With (used to be, lol's) intel and still currently with the high end nvidea stuff it was nothing to do with supply but rather lining shareholders pockets.
Intel are the better example as they have openly boasted to share holders about there massive margins. But nvidea are doing the same here.
And yes its capitalism, but it doesnt mean its right.

And fruit should be expensive. Its either not grown in the uk or simply not grown in the required volumes. Its a proper example of supply and demand and something in years past was considered a luxury or rare item.

AMD, although they are milking there advantage on the cpu front are at least being sensible and proving to us enthusiasts they actually like us and want us to buy there products.
Intel and nvidea however look down on us, we are just the scum they feed there shareholders. And the fatter we come the better.
Great deal, managed to pick a warehouse one up last July at £520, cruises through everything at ultra.

I have it water cooled driving a 3440x1440 monitor and it barely gets above 50 degC in complete silence

"Fixed *most* of blackscreening etc" - this is the real problem and it stops me buying an AMD card.

I do not want, and should not have to, be having to think about how often the drivers of my graphics card are going to blow up - frequently or "not as often" - and then you can easily spend an hour or two reading forum postings and tweaking settings to try to fix an intermittent problem. Life is too short to waste in this way and it's completely unacceptable that AMD has taken more than a year to not fully fix these really serious driver issues.

AMD has a big, probably multi-year, mountain to climb before I and a lot of other customers will trust them again.
i always buy amd gpu currently using 5700 xt saphire had no probs what so ever, not even heard fans come on yet,and for the money offer the best value imo.
also just for info purposes windows will now let nvidia and amd update your drivers without telling you.

It's February, and if you are talking repacked fruit it absolutely should be that price. It has to be transported hundreds if not thousands of miles, prepared, packed in a plastic package with a nitrogen atmosphere and the as quickly as possible transported to the point of sale before it spoils in anywhere from 24-72 hours.

To be honest it's a small market, AMD weren't a healthy enough company until very recently to be able to cater to niche markets even if it had ancillary benefits. This year looks like they will be, which will be good for the market and even if they aren't that successful they will drive down prices or increase value for the price paid.
Not been in the market for PC components since 2013 when i built my 3570k/290X lightning PC. Still rocking it and it plays everything on ultra although at 1080p.

Cant believe people are still saying AMD cards and drivers are crap. If you pay nvidea prices then youve only yourself to blame for nvidea riping you off.

Of course it is. Hence why amd sales are up while Nvidia are down

i agree with most of this BUT you dont think AMD want to make just as much money as the other 2? reason there prices are lower is only to get people to switch to Ryzen cpu/Gpu and get you away from there competitors, problem for gpu side is there is still countless issues with drivers etc where as you could just buy a nividia gpu and will just work and very very rarely has driver issues.
