I know Inno is effectively a budget brand but you're getting here a decent card for only £30 above MSRP which seems quite rare in the current climate of prices. This is pre-order only at this stage but hopefully might help someone out. These are going for between £350-400 used on Ebay so £399 new feels like good value.

    What is this 2020?
£30 over msrp on a 2 year old card is not a "deal".

    Replying to

It isn't worth £30 more than the founders edition.

Totally!!! Years ago they were a great site with a great community on their forms but I wouldn't give them a penny now. I'm surprised that they don't just peddle PS5s on eBay

It's worth noting that this deal is pre-order only, and it's been that way for days. There's no indication of when they'll be available, and with prices on the way down it's worth waiting on a better deal in my opinion, as you'll probably be waiting that long anyway!

All the stars have aligned... Crypto panic, everyone who wanted one already has one, they gotta lock in chip orders with suppliers, new cards coming out, loads of old stock, recession looming and the end of pandemic.

They made a deal with the devil to survive pandemic. I don't blame them like they had limited inventory and crypto miners paid more than average Joe. The problem with that is they killed their own market. People who couldn't get a card just bought a Xbox or ps5 for half the price. Now they've got to get all those people back which is good news for the future, prices will be lower. They'll have to include more bells and whistles to tempt people to buy.

I'd hold till September if you can kids go back to school energy prices go sky high so demand will collapse even more.

I really hope so. Unfortunately there are too many muppets prepared to pay £1000+ for a graphics card because, you know, big FPS in Minecraft lolz!!!!!11

Although I’m a pc gamer I kind of hope the next generations of consoles PS6 etc really knock it out the park with their specs and low cost. It’s about time high end PC gaming got challenged.

As for miners? Well I don’t want to get banned so the less said the better. (edited)

They lost me when I ordered a 3070 on day one well over msrp (fine, most were) then made me 4 months with no movement in the queue because they oversold on stock they never had and have the gall to close any forums trying to ask for a approx timeline. Made you feel as if they were doing you a favour for them fannying about.

I don't use OcUK anymore, happily go somewhere else even if it means spending a bit more.

I think im siding with the people who are still unhappy with this price. I suppose if youre making a new build.. then I guess you don't have too much choice.

Upgrade... na... rather not get ripped off.

Surely it being pre-order at this price is a red flag? They are trying to lock in sales at this price

At least it is a lot lower than it was a year ago it was going for £600 though the climate has changed a lot since then.

It isn't much lower than OC was selling in 2021. I bought one for £420 iirc.

"What does this mean for you? Nvidia’s choice to write off inventory-related losses means that that the company is likely assuming that a significant portion of its existing inventory at its customers will either not be sold or sold at a significant discount. To help those partners out, Nvidia is working with its partners to either accept lower prices or drive up the value of those cards via bundling, such as with games or peripherals."

Yep, just goes to show that people refuse to pay these stupid prices, despite the amount of people on these GPU "deals" who are so quick to defend the pricing as being the "best deal right now". (edited)
