Maybe, plus the new mining cards should help as well. Been checking the nvdia site non stop trying to get a 1080 or 1070ti never lucky enough to see them in stock. Thought for the little extra this was worth it.
Don't count on it actually being in stock, I've had a 1080Ti on order from these guys for 3 weeks and heard nothing

Same issue here. They keep pushing back the ship date. As infuriating as novatech - especially given they charge you on purchase rather than ship.

Damn really hope that isn't the case now as I've paid extra for NDD In desperate need of a card for a pro league game this weekend. Hope yours come soon!
Still rocking a 290, but this is a great price for 1080 given the current market.
When Nvidia are guaranteed to be replacing these models with faster ones within a scant few months I would be averse to paying £550 for a near two year old video card.

It might still be hit and miss finding stock but unless you are desperate paying top whack right at the very end of a card's lifespan is pretty bonkers, seeing as though you haven't bought one the past 20 months or whatever since they have been out.

Agreed but I'm pretty desperate, I have some pro games this coming weekend and need an upgrade to use shadowplay. Plays.tv just isn't cutting it for me.

More importantly, cryptocurrency values are continuing to fall.
Just add extra 50 quid and get gigabyte g1 gaming 1080. Got mine for only 599.00 Overclockers

FYI (for those who like a story) I sold an R9 280X to CEX for £60 (ish) and converted it into 0.01 bitcoin just after Feb's "crash" since then it has been worth as much as £83 and as little as £54, today it is worth £64.
