As this is a shower do i vote hot or cold it has both..HEHEHHEHE - great price HEAT of course
This is a great price for what you get here. My shower cubicle was ruined due to a burst pipe behind the wall and this will be a fantastic replacement. My local shop was looking close to £200 for just the shower tray!

Voted hot and repped for this, Mike. Thanks.
Heat added, but unfortunately I need the other way around typically, lol
The showers in B&Q always feel 'wobbly' and cheap. Prefer the Merlyn Black Box Quad for a quality, inexpensive shower cubicle
Great find. But I need a right facing.
very nice actually

I found that to, i couldnt believe the state of some of them in the trafford centre branch. There was a few that was absolutely filthy like 4000 rugby players had all showered in there. More importantly though there was some that were clearly broke and the trays were cracked and plastic had shattered which didnt inpress me. I ended up getting a stone base off ebay (£170)and a shower door from boundry bathrooms (£600) but well worth the extra, mines a whopping shower though could get 3 people on there no probs lol
This is a bargain! Everything you need for a shower install. Thats if you're looking for a left facing one. I might get away with this for the price!
Does anyone know if the picture is of a left or right handed enclosure?

Thanks

Vickyo, the big box is very heavy! 60 or 80kilo. Best idea is to get it delivered to your hallway and split it down to parts there and carry them up to the bathroom individually.
Mine has arrived but I dont plan on fitting for a couple of months yet so please do let us know how it goes.
Looks pretty smart though.
Oh, sign for it unchecked as the delivery guys say they have had a few that had broken glass in the boxes, they are supposed to wait around while you unpack and inspect before signing but I bet you wont find many that will do that.

dont forget 10% quidco
So then is this shower any good ? Just posted on the recent deal that im seriously considering it for £225 (quidco at 10%) but i want one thats reasonable quality and not cheap for the sake of it. The hydrolux one posted in this thread is more than £125 difference but is it worth that over this one ?

Sorry but our house is undergoing some major work at the moment so the shower just got a quick inspection but nothing more so far - the shower tower looks a bit plasticky... but I'm afraid that's the extent of it so far. I'm hoping to fit it next week (fingers crossed) I'll post info on it then although the work we are doing was supposed to been completed by the time the shower arrived so it may take longer...

Thanks Vickyo, mine is still boxed also, my bathroom refit will take longer than yours I think so do let us know when you get around to fitting it.

the hydrolux one is better quality but smaller. Dont forget a waste for the water. Get a top quality one as if it blocks up then it could mean dismantling the shower etc to access the waste if you are tiling your floor.

use plumbworld for this and sink, toilet etc as cheapest out there and still good quality. I did my bathroom for under £1500 (granite flooring / tiling / sink / shower etc / power shower). Worth trying most of it yourself if you have decent DIY skills. Pic attached.

Floor tiles etc - £250
Shower tray / enclosure / shower - £350
Sink & toilet & taps etc - £250
wall tiles - £150
Sparky to fit power shower - £150
power shower - £150
full length chrome towel radiator - £80

There should be a 27 page instruction booklet with it titled SC123 Shower enclosure Installation manual.
If you didnt get one in any of the boxes contact B&Q.
Cheers chap, will get on the case to them. I wasn't looking forward to assembling it without it! lol
