"Better eat fruit with fibre".... smoothies have fibre. Not so sure what the content of it is when you buy them prepackaged admittedly but if you make them yourself you don't magically lose the fibre content because you're putting it in a blender
Still better than a cheese sandwich, a Penguin and a packet of Monster Munch.... standard pack up in my day!

Sugar is not poisonous and hasn't really been found to cause diabetes. A kid drinking a small 100kcal smoothie every now and then isn't going to be an issue.

Innocent smoothies have very little fibre compared to whole fruits. You can have sugar of 10 fruits in one go. It is not like making smoothies at home. After dolmio, s sauce, they have the most concentrated amount of sugar in them. If they had all the fibre they won't be so bad. No wonder UK has the highest rate of kids diabetes after America.
