Even at this great price I couldn't bring myself to deal with these clowns again
Great price if code works but wary of many more people complaining now about poor dell support...

I think the problem was the header stated Dell rather than Dell Outlet so people most likely went to the normal site especially as that's where it takes you via the link.
Oh I see I did put the Outlet url not sure why it’s going to the official Dell site!
gone
s**t hot spec for the price
Got the 15 same specs for 295, no ssd though. Keep on the lookout even if you've missed this one.
cant find this one, any direct links...?

unfortunatelly seems to use PWM for backlight regulation at quite low 200Hz
Good price, that price and spec no longer available unfortunately
They’re just copying Apple now!
Returned one last week as awfully slow as it’s U series processor. Even fingerprint reader is hit and miss. I fell for price as well..avoid!!

it got 500 on cinebench which is pretty fast for a laptop so maybe you got a different one

CPU is basically as fast as a desktop Ryzen 1300X/i5 7400. It's fast for a mobile chip. Only a handful of the 7th gen i7 and the higher 8th gen parts are faster for laptops.

it's easily faster than an i5 7300HQ for example. That is a part you would have only seen in machines £650+ less than a year ago.
Can someone pit a link to it I cant seem to find it with a i5 8250

This seems like a good deal I could put my current 128 ssd in it and rock on

the only thing is I'm unsure I would really afford this at the moment with my current account balance (not the others lol) and someone said it's a bit laggy. I mean, I would be ok with that, I would only use it for media it would be fine with that, but I am really after a ryzen lappy I think. Hmmmmmmmm
I'll sleep on it or something I guess. Thanks for input for me.

Beware buying from Dell

Their customer service is based in India and it's a nightmare to deal with them.

I bought a XPS laptop for my business "certified refurbished" and it came with a big dent on the lid. I couldn't wait so bought another one thinking I will return first one in the meantime. Mind you delivery takes nearly 2 weeks.

Second one came with the screen hinge on the left side broken/loose.

Third time is the charm I thought but I realised out of the box this one came with a lower level of keyboard than others for some reason. Trackpad buttons didn't work.

Then they said they don't accept returns for business which is never mentioned anywhere when buying. They asked me to send pictures over pictures of boxes and putting laptops next to each other all sorts of stupid things. They said they escalated to revelant team if I can return these laptops. It has been over a month I'm still waiting to return.

Another funny thing they come with random SSDs which makes a huge difference in performance.

What’s the difference between the 5370 and the 7370?
are these classed as ultrabooks?, need something with ssd to replace my tired old vaio and the i3 version is available at £350
Just a heads up to the mods if this goes out of stock they do come back daily throughout the day. The code is valid until the 30th so I suggest people who miss out check between 1-3PM daily and even 5-7PM

Pretty much. Low wattage chips so they’ll be quiet, slim chassis with no dvd drive.

Useless. Thanks for the information . I would have bought one and counted on luck. Not nice

That is shocking. I’d go crazy with fury if I had to deal with that. I’ve never had such a poor experience personally but then again I’ve not owned a dell for a few years now.
Will it run Crysis?

Dell are poor, even the way the invoice doesnt tell you the parts installed on thee machine which makes life hard when you want to find drivers FFS.
But i must admit, the laptops do keep going, out of the 3 i had, they all still work (just a shame on the lousy customer service)
Bad bad bad customer service and machines are plastic through and through
Ex’s laptop came with a big dent on lid and idiots at customer service seems to think that’s acceptable as it’s classed as minor
A big dent on lid is minor
Hours on phone to India
As bad as very
Avoid
Will quidco work with this?
Had enough trouble buying a new one. Took 3 months of dell hell from purchase to refund
