Great laptop good price.
Hot for me

Brand new from Dell is available for the same price (Plus 7% quidco) so why buy from outlet?

Although posted as an Outlet deal, this is actually from the main site.

This laptop was launched at £399 so this price isn't "hot" but you can buy it from Carphone Warehouse for £399 with 2GB ram (and 5% Quidco cashback):

I tested one of these and wasn’t impressed. It certainly looks a lot nicer than the Inspiron 1545 but the fan noise when just web browsing was unimpressive. The battery life was disappointing also. If you’re not using applications that scale beyond 2 cores then hyper-threading is not much use. No Turbo-Boost with the i3 which is a feature that I think would be useful.
All in all a pretty average machine.

average machine for 429... what are you expecting? The moon? Have you actually seen the market recently, everything is up in price! Not seen a cracking deal in ages to be honest
