Wow, is it that people dislike Dell on here?, I though this was a good deal for an i3-370 with 4GB Ram, 500GB Hard Disk & 1GB Dedicated Graphics Card.....and I was even of the opinion I had made the wrong choice with a Lenovo Laptop I bought yesterday.

So, which would be the better option out of this and the Lenovo Z560 I bought???...

The Lenovo is obviously cheaper & with a faster rpm Hard Disk, but apart from that I thought it was a bit inferior?, am I wrong (hope I am!)

Personally, I think this is a good deal - very good spec for the money. Dell are doing one with only 3GB of RAM, 250GB HDD and Intel graphics for £449, so you're getting a lot more for an extra £50.

hp deals better. slightly worse graphics (both 5470 and 550v are terrible anyway), 200mhz of processor speed does not make any difference, BUT the 7200rpm hdd in the hp WILL.

The 7200rpm hdd was what led me to opt for the Lenovo, I figured the general spec (coupled with the 512MB 310M card) would be ample for its purpose of Football Manager 2011, a bit of surfing and playing music, hopefully will make a nice xmas pressie!

And I think it's still quite a good deal for the price given..

like the football and xmas present above-- lucky chap

Heat added from me. It looks from these benchmarks like it should run most recent games in low settings and some in medium settings. As a L4D2 nut, I am pretty tempted.

Cold voters - can you find a laptop capable of running L4D2 better than this for under £500? Or is it just that you don't like Dell as a company?

Its for my dad, he`s really poorly and cant get out the house at all, he's never had an up to date laptop or desktop before, but loves the old versions of Football Manager, so I thought this might just make his xmas.
