More like another four letter word starting with s & finishing with t
Not generally impressed with Aldi food? Are these actually any good? How do they compare with the basic value/smart price noodles you get in Tesco or Asda? Those tend to be a bit bland but in-offensive as the flavouring packet is pretty minimal.
Cheap like chips...
These are actually quite nice and flavoursome. Had the duck one a week or so ago. It doesn't really taste strongly of duck but it's still nice. You get a generous amount from the pack and it was filling.
Oh no I bought two packs of these yesterday! Do they do a price promise?Definitely worth driving 6 miles to get my 18p back!!
They taste absolutely fine to me? Nothing special, but it's an 18 (or 9)p pack of instant noodles - what exactly are you expecting?

My sense of taste may not be reliable enough for some of you, but after craving Chicken supernoodles for years after turning vegetarian, the Aldi Chicken noodles taste reasonably similar to me - and are vegetarian! (This type of product generally only has 0.5% chicken fat or something in it - so you aren't missing anything by it being vegetarian)
OMG I can save 9p I am going to buy in bulk

Remember the quality of Aldi food is that to standard priced Tesco/Sainsburys own items. And the Tesco Value / Smart Price items are equal to Aldi 'Everyday Essentials' items.

So the quality you get on Aldi is so much better for the same price as Tesco Value items which are bland and a bit rubbish!
I've always thought a lot of their food was basically better.
Those of you complaining about the taste... how about you use these noodles to make a high quality, home made stir fry, instead of paying £2 for a 200g pack of egg noodles from Te$cos. learn to cook and buying everything from lidl and aldi, you can eat like a king. minus the chefs and butlers, obviously.
These are very nice as far as instant noodles go, especially the shrimp ones, and at 9p for quite a filling snack, i'd say a very hot deal!!!!!
I wouldn't feed these to my wheelie bin.

Is it because your wheelie bin is Big, fat and and lazy like the average Tesco shopper?

Its normal sized in comparison to other wheelie bins but you're right it doesn't move very much. The point is that even my wheelie bin has some sort of standards.

p.s. I'm sorry to have put you off your dinner, that wasn't my original intention.

Just noticed in the op "People were buying in bulk", what to save 9p a packet. You must have some right tramps in your local X)
Does any one know the % duck or shrimp content in these?

In my experience Aldi and Lidl quality is much lower for the products I like but there are some products I prefer, overall I'd have to say with 100% conviction and honesty that I much prefer Tesco food and find it generally cheaper overall because I find the Tesco value range good quality for most products. I have to admit though that I buy a lot of processed food, tin products etc and I think this is where Aldi and Lidl fail as some of their products are shockingly bad. That's why I asked about the noodles to see if it was a good product or not.

The thing about buying from Tesco's is its wide range of goods means you can almost always get exactly what you want without compromise but that is also its downfall as you are tempted by other more expensive items.

Fair enough, I haven't really shopped at Lidl, don't really like that store, but for me (mainly non processed foods) Aldi have been really good.

But I haven't bought these noodles, so I don't know.
