Amazon have the Instant Pot digital pressure cooker at £799.
Thanks, bought a Cosori last week, so this should help.

Any good? I keep looking at replacing my old slow cooker with a multi cooker..
Thank you.
This is good because once you've bought your Instant Pot, you've no money left for anything else.
Was hoping for some good brownie recipes. Misleading title
Instant Pot is a brand name - a product you can't buy in Europe.

Presumably this book "works" for other multi-cookers, Which one is the best (i.e. quality, utility AND AVAILABILITY) for the UK?

Why not get the free Cosori cookbook off Amazon, instead.
Not only is it more relevant to the machine you have, but it contains 500 recipes.

(actually there are loads of 'em. Presumably they just cross-out Instant Pot and write in the name of any other brand, instead).

I borrowed a friend's pressure king pro for a few weeks, and after a steep learning curve, was using it just about every day. The pressure king pro has a non stick inner pot which is poor quality,so I decided to go for the Cosori, which has a really good stainless steel pot,and is cheaper. I much prefer the Cosori, but haven't tried it as a slow cooker yet. According to reviews,it doesn't slow cook very well, overheating things, though I think temperature can be adjusted for slow cooking. As a pressure cooker it's very good, and there are loads of recipes online. When you read online about cooking times for pressure cooking, the times never include the time it takes to get to pressure, which can be 5 or 10 minutes or more, and a time at the end to release pressure,,you might not save a lot of time, When you can cook a 750g gammon joint in half an hour,( actual cooking time), it's well worth it.
does anyone else get a slightly metallic taste from literally everything that gets cooked in the pressure cooker? I have found other people online mention it. I want to love it so much, but everything I cook has a slightly metal taste imparted.

I use a Tower T16008 pressure cooker fwiw - if it weren't for the taste I'd actually use it.

Instant pot recipes can be adapted for any digital pressure cooker. They were available in UK up until around the end of last year. There are loads of multicookers, and lots of reviews online. If you're looking for a cheap multi cooker, Wilko's one is supposed to be good but doesn't pressure cook, around £30. The cookworks one in argos also gets good reviews, but I was put off by the non stick pot. Thats around £50 and is a pressure cooker. Just decide what features you want, then you can decide what's best for you. If you decide to get one, check the sizes first as they're big.

I bought the Instant Pot in the U.K. from amazon on a Black Friday deal. It’s fantastic. All in one mac and cheese or the one pot lasagne are awesome.
