Product Description
Instant Pot Duo is a 7 in 1 automatic Electric Pressure Cooker that speeds up cooking by 2-6 times and uses up to 70% less energy and, above all, produces nutritious healthy food in a convenient and consistent fashion.

Instant Pot Duo functions as a 'twin pressure' pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, saute, yogurt maker and warmer all in 1. It has 14 built-in smart programs (Soup, Meat/Stew, Bean/Chili, Poultry, Saute, Steam, Rice, Porridge, Multigrain, Slow Cook, Keep-Warm, Yogurt, Pasteurise and Fermenting) cook your favourite dishes with the press of a button whilst you get on with other things.

A 24-hour timer allows for delayed cooking. Automatic keep-warm holds the temperature of the food until you serve it for up to 10 hours.

Instant Pot generates almost no noise and leaks no steam. It traps all the aromas in the food without heating up the kitchen. The slim body design has smaller foot print and lid holders for both left and right handed users. The brushed stainless steel exterior is finger print resistant.

Duo uses the 3rd generation technology with an embedded microprocessor, which monitors the pressure and temperature, keeps time and adjusts heating intensity and protects you with 10 proven safety mechanisms and patented technologies.

This is a brilliant piece of kit, have one and absolutely love it.
So many kitchen gadgets end up covered in dust and stuck at the back of a cupboard that is essentially a charity shop waiting room. That is not the fate of the Instant Pot - bought one a couple of years ago and it's an essential piece of kitchen equipment for us now... permanently sits on the work top. HOT!

Yeah, it was the same price on Black Friday too.

Thanks for the heads-up Loubou - snoozed and lost the last time this was on offer so delighted to get one this time
fab deal, love my pot - heat added
Been eyeing this one. Finally bought it 🔥
Got one for this price Black Friday. I love it and use it all the time.

I purchased a second inner pot and a glass lid which gives you way more flexabilty and you can put then on the oven ring to simmer as they have solid bases.
Been using this practically every other day and it is fantastic. Highly recommended

I remember seeing your review on Amazon where you compare it to the PKP.

Apparently it was meant to be £69.99 all along but the wrong price was put up. It should be this price for the rest of the day.

There are loads online if you google 'Instant Pot recipes'. Also look on Pinterest. There are also several Instant Pot Facebook groups you can join where people share recipes and give advice.
Fab stuff! I’ve been eyeing this up and glad I waited! I was even going to ordered this morning at £10 extra

To everyone, curious what dishes do you make with this?

Can this defrost chicken much quicker?
Ordered at £79.99. They wouldn't refund me, and so I had to cancel...even though it's already shipped. So I'm getting two of these tomorrow, and one is going right back. Seems daft, as they will have to pay for delivery and return of the first one, and delivery of the other one I just ordered at £69.99 - instead of just refunding me £10!

You wouldn't use this to defrost chicken.

It's excellent for stews, ragus, soups, and similar. Basically things that you want to pressure cook for a while without having to keep on the stove. It's better than a slow cooker because of the pressure options.

However, it's not a no-cooking substitute. You still need to sear meat to make it good, typically, for example.

It works really well for stuff that may stink up the house if you stew for long periods. It also works well as a nighttime cooking item...I sometimes set it close to bedtime and let it cool overnight, ready to be packed in the morning.

You can cook frozen chicken in it. I use mine mostly for stews, soups, curries, chilli, bolognese, pulled pork, ribs, rissoto and making stock. So many options and recipes available online
I've had one for a couple years, would be lost without it!

I use mine for the same reasons people above have said. I also use it for Dahl and I've used it for chicken livers. I use it to cook my chickpeas too to make hummus. It is great for dried beans and lentils etc.

You can put frozen chicken straight in to it to cook. It's similar to a slow cooker, just instead of taking 8 hours it can take 30mins.

I'd suggest getting a veg steamer insert too.
Bought it. Will probably never use it.
Just received an email saying I will be getting a £10 refund for anybody else who brought it at the earlier price

Is it smart version? I remember returning this one as spouse complained that it is not smart.
Would recommend the majority of recipes on this site pressurecookrecipes.com/bes…18/
Especially the chili and Tuscan chicken.

No, the smart version is not available in the UK. Only the DUO is available here.
