Credit to the OP that posted this earlier today but for some reason the deal got marked expired!

Deal is for the Instant Pot Duo V2 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker, 6 Qt, 5.5L 1000 W at £94.99. Granted this isn't the lowest price ever. It has been seen at £80 on Black Friday which is now passed. If you have a time machine to go back and buy at Black Friday Price, then great, but please don't vote cold or mark as expired because it's not as cheap as Black Friday.

Camel Camel Camel site suggests this is a good historical price to buy as it usually sells for extended periods at £110 and upwards and rarely goes on the odd offer usually back down this same price.

80 quid in black Friday, just for reference. Picked up a new/2nd hand one (after cursing my luck for missing that deal) for 40 quid with accessories. Which was nice.

Still not used it, mind!
I'm waiting for £80 again, not in a rush
This machine is fantastic. Bought during Black Friday sale and have used it pretty much every day for one thing or another. It’s so versatile and cooks meats so quickly. As others have said, it was cheaper a month or so ago, but still great value at this price I think.

Where from
Isn't this the one that you could buy a while ago for £66 when adding the glass lid in the basket?

Le: yes, this is the one posted at the end of last month... hotukdeals.com/dea…282

Really good and useful in anyone's kitchen.

Bought this a couple of years back before it became 'popular' for £70. Great piece of kit that's easy to use.
I just clicked on the link and amazon reminded me I had already purchased one for £69.99 last year so maybe the price may go lower again.
For what I paid I'm very happy with it and use it a few times a week.
Bought on Black Friday for £80 but other then boiled rice I'm not sure what to do with it 🙈 as to me it seems like it takes the same amount of time to cook on a cooker as the instant pot waiting for pressure to build and pressure to release..what does everyone else cook in it

Apparently lots you can cook with it. I believe there's a number of free Kindle cook books on Amazon for it as well....

amazon.co.uk/s/r…=22

I'm also convinced it should be quicker than a pressure cooker as it should heat up and reach pressure faster. Also electricity is cheaper than gas, so should also result in a reduction in energy bill vs. using pressure especially if you use one regularly?

Note I'm not talking from personal experience here as I don't own one, just got my eye on it but the missus feels we don't need it!

Lol other way round for me! Convinced my husband we needed it and don't know what to do with it now
Thanks will look into the kindle books!

I have a Cosori and an Instant Pot … and honestly, I'm disappointed with the Instant Pot. The Cosori comes to pressure quicker, and doesn't overcook the food.
Thanks Op. Really tempted

Does anyone know:

Are there any recipes to cook porridge with milk?

Also, where can I buy cheap steel cut oats? :/
Edited by: "zyany" 26th Dec 2018
I use mine everyday!

Go into the fb group for instant pot UK.. great advice and recipes.

I never cooked previously as didn't have the confidence. This is one pot cooking and so flavoursome due to cooking under pressure.

I put 1 ramekin of oats to 3 ramekins of milk for one large portion per person for porridge. Put it on around 11pm the night before on time to switch on at 6am. 5 mins under pressure.

Lovely soft porridge piping hot for everybody when we get up

Just tried this - added the glass lid and took it out at the last minute before finalising the order, and the price reduced to £79.16.

Do you have a link for the glass lid please?
I've added one that Amazon recommended but it didn't work for me.

Update: Done!... I've added them separately to the basket. I was adding them from where amazon is selling them as a bundle.

I have left the lid as I did want it, but now everything was £100

Thanks Belle0913

Steel cut oats are also called Coarse Oatmeal. I got some from Holland and Barrett. I couldn’t get them in any supermarket. hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/prewetts-coarse-oatmeal-60076658 Look online for recipes with milk. Some mix water with milk too.

Sorry for the late reply!
Hope I'm still on time!

Instant Pot
amazon.co.uk/dp/…T4K

The glass lid
amazon.co.uk/Ins…2LK

Go all the way to basket and chek out, to the point where you choose delivery date and rates and al that jazz. That's where you remove the lid, should you want to.

GOOD LUCK!
