*Study conducted to assess energy usage in a 2400W electric oven and Vortex Plus 6-in-1 Air Fryer with ClearCook & OdourErase when cooking the same Roast Chicken recipe.

After a year of umming and ahhing about would we actually use an Airfryer we finally took the plunge last week and got the Vortex 6in 1 as it was on offer at Amazon and John Lewis at just £99. Bought from J Lewis to get the 2 year warranty

We have used it on 3 occasions. It has far exceeded our expectations. Fish and chips perfect in 18 min. Roast potatoes, Pieminister Pie and Salmon fillet all cooked together in 20 mins Perfect. Onion Bhajis - 12 mins -perfect. Co-op fish cakes in 10 mins - perfect

The 6 in 1 has just 1 large 5.7litre basket. For a couple its perfect. For a family of 4 maybe this bigger 8.5litre version would be better

Seriously. If you can get a good brand fryer at a good discount (some Ninjas were on amazing offers on HDUK over the weekend) then I dont think you will be disappointed

Whisper it but this is available for the same price at Lakeland but with arguably the best THREE YEAR warranty in the business (for instance, they allow you to return the item any time in the first three years for a full refund if you are not 100% satisfied with it - it doesn't even have to be faulty!)

Plus MyLakeland members (free to join) have recently been receiving a 20% voucher to use on any item over £50, making this £127.99.

I just signed up to MyLakeland. Do they send the 20% voucher by email or post?

Great deal and a really good air fryer. The flexible basket size allows you to cook much more than most other models. Paid £220 for it when it was released and well worth it even at that price.

I’m undecided between this and the ninja max. The Ninja ‘looks’ better with the non shiny non scratchy black surface, and the push buttons. The Instant obviously has the better drawer system. It just looks cheap to me? (edited)
