Reggae, Reggae Sauce - so good they named it twice!

[UPDATE: Apparently, other (new) flavours are also available!]

Usually £1.48 for a large (310g) jar, and still at this price online, but on offer in store at the moment for just £1.00 at my local (Colne, Lancs) and hopefully others too?

Sainsbury's had it on sale at 99p several months ago, and that was deemed to be a hot offer (353 degrees) so let me know what you think about this latest offer from Asda...

Good stuff... thanks

Think it's being sold for the same price in local supermarkets too (Nisa etc)

HOT

Voted hot, but bloody cold, have you seen the weather today

Anyone remember Dragons Den with the person who made this sauce? He was awesome. I may have to pick up a bottle or two.

great on chunky chips!!

Great in moderation - use sparingly.

Thats the spirit  I wish some of the grumpier members could see past thier predujices (or taste buds) & see a good deal whether or not they would personally make use of it.

Never tried it but for 99p I'll give it a whirl.

Ouch, hurt so much I had to take the measures of uploading a avatar.

Hot deal, if for nothing else because the guy who makes it, is pretty damn cool

Thanks, I've been and got some this morning. It's hot but not especially hot and seems to cook in to other recipes OK.

The deal voted hot.

Ha ha, yeah the guy who made it was called 'Levi Roots'

Although his real actual name, is Keith ha ha

love this stuff he does other ones now aswell
top bloke aswell

Just been to my local asdas{barrow} it's not on offer anymore it had just finished, but the women gave me a voucher for the 48p off so still got it for a squid

This stuff is lovely, and as you don't need a huge dollop, a bottle will go a long way.

To be honest, I think they set the RRP too high for this one in the first place, and a quid seems a bit more like it.

Voted hot. For those of you who have not tasted it, the sauce is sweetish at first with a satisfying warm afterburn (I would not describe it as a hot sauce - but then again I like hot chillis so perhaps I have an asbestos lined mouth!).

only 48p off, plenty of products have this much of a reduction which never get posted,???? im assuming it really does taste that good, heat added!!

Was £1 in my local Asda, they also had a 'Levi Roots' Love Apple, Tomato Sauce, so bought one of each

great stuff, dont use it as a sauce though!

mix it in with casarol, or spag bowl, or meat balls...etc....amazing!

the only product which gives you a same day ring of fire

Always wanted to try this stuff.

*note to self DO NOT USE AS SAUCE!*

Fact is I will when I have had a couple of beers :whistling:

This offer is back on, just been to Asda in Derby and they had them at £1 again!!
