At a guess, this will be okay for a grill but pretty much useless as a smoker - I've looked at LOADS of threads for cheap smokers and they all end up saying the same thing - save your money and put it towards something decent or build one yourself (I'm going to try when I get chance).
Save your money these are are abos.
Trust me
Bought one of these last year not a great smoker unless you modify it a bit (we did manage to do a smoked brisket in it). The main issue with it however is that when we took it back out this summer most of the paint had peeled off due to rust (it was stored in a shed over the winter) and when we went to open the grill and smoker all 4 hinges snapped.
A friend of mine got this recently. Good for grilling but smoker is non usable. If you are looking for a smoker do not buy this
technically ok as a big cold smoker, but a pile of pish where sealing air in where better combustion is concerned, this design pops up every summer, & they suck at the intended hot coals BBQ purpose.

As eople have said above, these are cheaply made painted pressed steel and won't last more than a year. Once they get hot, the paint starts to crack and peel off and, even with a cover over (or in a garage / shed), they get condensation on and start to rust. Same as the garden firepit / fireplaces Aldi sell.

Then you've got the PIA of dragging it all back to Aldi for a refund. Another case of buy cheap, buy twice and just add more junk to the pile.

Save your time and cash, buy something better, save the planet in the process.
Sold out anyways, get the stainless one from JTF almost same price and very similar to look at
