Walked past the EE Store the other and saw this on their deal of the week blackboard. £11.50 pm for unlimited Mins and Texts with 9GB of 4G Data for 6 months before going back up to £23 a month.

After inquiring its for existing customers, whose contract has finished, or you can pay an early upgrade fee.

so for the whole year i think it works out to be £207 which isn't bad as it also includes calls to 08 numbers too

How can you be an existing customer if your contract has finished ?

Because if you don't change provider, renew or upgrade at the end of your contract it rolls on until you do.

Cracking deal

I reckon this deal is mainly targeted to retain people who have finished their contract and waiting for the iPhone 6 likely to be announced in September

It's nothing special. I cannot wait for my existing contract to end with EE.. Absolutely atrocious service!

What store was this in, called up but they're denying all knowledge

Was in the canary wharf store but they honoured it for me in the Fleet Street store paid my remaining line rental and took this.

I got this deal at the Woking store on we July. I upgraded free of charge within contract from my Tmobile Full Monty SIM only contract to this 4gee EE 12 month deal.

My wife also upgraded at the same time to the same deal. She was on an Orange tariff but out of contract.

We both have Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phones.

Will try the Westfield one again in person, maybe I just caught someone that couldn't be bothered answering the phone

I had a similar deal offered to me by EE retentions, they also chucked in 100 picture messages as part of the deal. Didn't even ask for them.....

Would you know if this would include double speed 4g and visual voicemail?

I've had the samend deal. I did mine over the phone to customer service. 9GB is quite a lot of data.

Was offered this by retentions the other day, they said it was double speed 4G. Not sure on visual voicemail.

Also worth knowing is Virgin mobile use the EE network. If you have broadband or TV with then, you can get their sim only 30 day contract.

This is £18 a month and gives unlimited phone, sms and data plus free calls to 0800, 0845, 0870 and 0808 numbers.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the unlimited data is 3G only. Of you want 4G then you'll have to look elsewhere

is this sim only deal

EE is ****.

How can I get this deal?

Just got this deal yesterday (8th August) in the EE store Bromley. Even knocked off another £3 monthly because I didn't want the 0800 calls package.

You have to ask them to look at the super sims on their computers which the EE staff member didn't even know about.

Remember, this is for existing customers who's contracts are about to expire or have already expired.

I upgraded an old T-Mobile sim to this EE sim only deal.

What I get:

Unlimited Calls
Unlimited Texts
9GB data double speed
Free wifi on London Underground
Free Wifi with BT openzone

The cost:

It's the £22.99 package

50% off for 6 months = £11.49
Knock off the 0800 calls bundle (which is included in this package) - £3 = £8.49 for the first 6 months

The second 6 months you lose the 50% off so it's £8.49 x 2 = £16.98.

This is an annual cost of £152.82 divided by 12 month averages £12.73 a month.

Great deal

Don't go with WE they are crappie as I found out after. customer service is ****. After sales crap....

Just to be a bit annoying, shouldn't the last 6 months be £19.99? (= £22.99 - £3). Still a good deal though.

just factor in ee now charges to phone customer services 25p or 50p also voice mail isnt included in so have to pay 40p per min , and customer service is utter rubbish , i have been with tmobile for years and no problem now there with ee nothing but trouble ive even got a bill for £497 for appartent 62 mb over my usage on data lol , i had 1gb usage and after i have added all the data up ive used i have used just over 500mb so be very carefull of extra charges , it has been over 1 week and still havnt sorted bill out .

Awful network of late. My only reason to remain is that I have a very good legacy tariff with T-Mobile.

I wouldn't wish EE on my worst enemy they've been covered on Watchdog several times for good reason!

I got this deal when I rang up yesterday. the local store didnt say anything about this one

Just to clarify they charge 50p if you want to be in the prioirty line. its free if you wait in the normal line.Ive been with t-mobile/ee for quite a few years, haven't had any major issues.

Does anyone know if emergency services discount can be applied to this deal with it already being discounted? Thanks

This is a great deal - my sim only contract expires in December and I would do with some more data now - has anybody tried to upgrade when still within contract?

missed a similar deal to this last week. worked out £15 per month. £10 for first six months then £20 for the last six. unlimited everything including 08 numbers.

ee is utter rubbish . called the customer service several time when my contract expired last 7th. they didn't offer any good deal. asked for PAC code offered the PAC without any attempt to keep me. god a deal with 3 600 min unlimited internet unlimited text 4gb personal hotspot 18£ for 12 month = £216. very happy with the service so far. enjoying my oneplus one.

Why can't phone operators (and broadband providers for that matter) offer deals for the duration of the contract. I hate these "first six months at a special price" deals. I also hate EE but that's another story entirely!

I'm so glad I found this, thank you. Just got off the phone with EE and sorted my contract that runs out within the month.

I got the unlimited calls & texts - 9GB data - £11.50 for 6 months then £23 for 6 months. - I just asked about the 'super sim deals' and the lad was aware straight away.

Coming from a £31 p/m EE4G 3GB tarrif makes this even sweeter. Hot AF.
