Seems a gr8 price for the gamecube as they could be used for the childrens bedroom, birthdays or for the summer, when you go on holiday, seems a good deal as CEX give you £15 cash for the console boxed, so you can even make a couple of quid.

Worth checking out Package deals @ Gamestation too as they often do deals with your choice of "4 for £20" for around 30 quid (Online add a fiver P&P...but you getter a better choice of games than is sometimes available instore).

Games can be played on the Wii with Gamecube controllers too...

SOME Excellent games on the gamecube, i may pick one up for 15quid just so i cant play resi's 0-3, mario partys and mario kart

Not really concerning this deal, but does anybody know where you can get a gamecube screen really cheap so that we can leave ours in the car and let the kids play it on long journeys, if they can be got cheap, then along with this deal it would make a great in car entertainment system for the little ones - and me if Mrs Mike ever learns to drive!

Not going to be available nationwide but I recently got a Gamecube LCD screen for £1 from gamestations bargain bin (along with a cube broadband adapter, load of DC pads, PSX/PS2/DC guns, Megadrive pads and loads of other good stuff =] ).

There is work underway on a MicroSD board that will replace the GCN's Mini-DVD drive with a MicroSD HC slot. 16gb of games with no moving parts will be nice. :>

any more info on this?

That's a pretty good price for just an official controller if it's in good nick.

I might get one to mod into a Weighted Companion Gamecube

Amazing price! If I didn't have a Wii I'd snap one up straight away. Well worth it for games like Mario Kart, Smash Bros Melee, Super Monkey Ball 2 and Burnout 2 (some of my favorite games on the cube anyway!)

they were 9.99 last week, i got one

and cex wont give you 15 quid, only about 12 i think, as they take them as unboxed, this is cos they come in a game box normally, not the original nintendo box

and they also only take them if you get a second hand one with an official controller

A Wii with proper controllers for just over a tenner, bargain

excellent price for a decent console...my son has one but we have other newer consoles too

Haha, yeah I'm actually thinking of selling my Wii with it's £150+/22,000 points worth of virtual console games and getting a Gamecube instead to use with my Ikaruga and WindWaker.

Dont start with selling it too cex, that place always says we dont have any cash left to give to customers, so your forced to trade or keep your console.

is there anyway of playing N64 games on this??? and can the unit be modded to play backups??

Gamecube games are too expensive with Wii owners snappy them up. Try finding Sunshine, WindWaker, Metroid for under a tenner.

gr8 price ill be looking tomo for the kids bedroom voted hot

read the post title again.

And in both my local stores these have gone back up to £20 as they've 'had a sudden run' and are running scarce. Possibly still worth it for 1 year warranty.

not bad for the car
