One thing to note. Insurance from these guys is only valid for handsets less than 6 months old.

Or £27.50??

Had a quick look, can you get this off each insurance policy you take out (pay out for my phone and two of my children's at the moment on insurance)? Also, does anybody know if there is a family insurance policy where you pay just one monthly payment - I have a Nokia, my son a Samsung and my two daughters have an iPhone 4S and an iPhone 5C? Thank you.

Bank of Scotland Silver account is now £10 pm I think, gives AA cover, European travel insurance, mobile phone cover (Excess £50 for iphone, £25 everything else). Pretty good deal tbh, I used to pay vodafone £13pm just for iphone 4 insurance

Interesting guys, keep the info coming. The Halifax rewards account is £15 a month unless you pay in £750 monthly, should you fall out of work could be costly.

Halifax Reward account gives mobile insurance as one of the benefits. Only a £30 excess for anything other than an iPhone too.

I think the Nationwide FlexPlus covers a load of other features includinging breakdown for £10 a month. I'm actually interested to switch over to them.

Every bank will do something like this for about £7 including loads of other things. At least you have cover with as company you can walk in and complain.

And for anyone saying "home insurance" sorry you're wrong, if I damaged my phone I would want to pay a £100 odd excess, lose my no claims discount, and be paying an extra £100 odd a year then onwards. (Ignoring most home insurances don't cover mobile phones s all, especially from accidental damage ou of the home)

My god the terms and conditions on this deal are excessive!

So how would I go on if I bought a new iphone off here??
No receipt = no insurance, or is there a way

good deal would consider this.

£100 excessfor 16year olds & over

RoyG is 18+ but excess is £25 for first claim in 12 months and £50 for second claim within the same 12 month period. Any they even refund you a fiver for RMSD.

Whether it is worth adding 'All risks' cover to your home contents insurance depends on personal circumstances. For us, with 3 adults in the house each with a mobile, it would cost quite a lot to insure the phones individually and even then there would be an excess to pay. Covering on the home contents insurance, I agree means we have to pay an excess, but covers so much more than just the mobile phones, eg. glasses, cameras, jewellery etc. when taken out of the home, so definitely worth looking at as an alternative to an individual policy for EACH mobile.
