240GB SSD
SATA III 6Gbps
Sequential Speed 240GB = READ 565MB/s, WRITE 490MB/s
3 Years Warranty

The faster P series. Apparently these approach 850 evo speeds at a much lower cost. Should be good for a steam drive.

Works out at 23p a gb. If you need the space the 480gb is better value at £92.99 or 19p a gb.

It's roughly 28% more expensive than it was 4 months ago but brexit means brexit so we all have to deal with inflation on foreign goods. Who knows maybe we'll see wage inflation due to our good and services now being so much cheaper for international consumers.

Sod this - if they wish to charge us more for things then someone else can buy it.

Look at Sainsbury own brand butter - was 85p a few weeks ago and is now £1.10 - what a rip-off increase percentage-wise. Let's use BREXIT as the excuse.

Rant over. Voted cold.

Sadly this will happen across the board. I invite you to take a look at this:

Set the graph to 1 year and see if you can tell when things changed.

It's ok, I got a Sandisk 240GB for £60 the other day from Amazon, that seemed to be about the cheapest for a known brand 240 gigglebytes SSD

It's not an excuse when the £ has collapsed. Not saying there aren't cases of ripping us off (like the marmite) but most are genuine.

Anything raw products that are brought in $/€ has suffered inflation, even if the final product is made in the uk. Its sounds strange but makes complete sense. Oh and petrol and gas is paid in $/€. So there is increases in transportation costs too ..

Dram is paid in $ by the way and is a commodity and seems to have a life of its own

B***ard Brexit.

K1LLER HORNET

B***ard Brexit.

**** Bankers trying to buy and sell money and blaming Brexit or something else for the excuse!

Hot deal

Surprisingly for once I didn't actually check the 3 camels this time! The price increase was from a one off deal for 42.99 at ebuyer earlier this year:

I wish the Sun would explain this to it's readers. Possibly with infographics like David Beckhams metatarsal way back when.

Dammit I forgot cashback. My fault on the political comments. I think I've basically trolled the in denial members of the brexit brigade by pointing out why the price has increased so much.

It's a valid warning. People have become used to holding off for a good deal, as some electronic goods were getting cheaper, but Brexit has put paid to that by and large.

If there are any electronic goods people are holding out for then it's risky to wait once Black Friday is over. If Article 50 is triggered watch the pound tank and prices rise again.
