20MB/s reads and 14MB/s write speeds. Would this bee okay for playing back 4K videos from the stick?

Yes, the bitrate of the highest quality 4K movies on a triple layer 100GB BluRay disc (h265/hevc encoded) is approx 128Mbps = 16MB/s, if the read speed on this is 20MB/s, then that’s more than enough!

However, if it’s raw footage taken with a 4K video cam, without any compression then no.

EDIT: One thing to note is whether heat (as the stick warms from being used) whether the 20MB/s read is sustained. If it throttles below 16MB/s then you might have a problem (assuming your video file is rated at 128Mbps bitrate).

Sounds like it's great for storage with a set of keys instead of carrying around a portable hard drive. I'll transfer videos off the stick to the portable hard drive to watch. Thanks!

You’re welcome
Lol I lost a 128gb stick that was on my keyring. Potentially a lot of data to lose . Damn fine price though
