could not find anything close to match for this price, capacity, speed and warranty (5 years) to use as quick back-up for my Macbook Pro that has only 256GB SSD drive. I do not care what RRP was (£80)- getting 256GB MicroSDXC is no brainer

Yes, something called competition.
Wow crazy cheap price! Heat heat heat
Cheers op
Thanks OP, ordered one of these for my switch!
I've been waiting for a 256gb card to come down in price but this is cheaper than i expected, ordered.
Just bought one, great price....noticed using PayPal you have to agree to future payments etc like a direct debit type thing which I wasn't fussed about doing...But once purchased you can go into your PayPal account settings and cancel,it actually shows as a direct debit, never really came across this before.
Are there likely to be any compatibility issues with sd card readers built into laptops with this or should they all be fine with a 256GB card?
Can it record with 4k @60fps?
Excellent price.....how could I resist?
Thank you for posting , I remember getting my 128GB at this price a few years ago and it was very cheap.
Thanks OP, ordered even don't really need one.

4% quidco or 4.04% topcashback.
Thanks great price.
Just ordered even I don’t need one. Can’t skip it for this price

They're stuffed with cheap Phison NAND instead of samsung, sandisk or toshiba OEM NAND.

Never heard of Phison? Yeah, exactly.

I have a 128GB version of these and the card slows down then overheats and disappears from the system when filling it up, only reappearing when it's cooled down. My 128GB samsung card handles long writes fine.

How, doesn't make sense. Huawei Mate 20 Pro doesn't accept micro SD card.

That’s the price for them now, 128GB goes for about £17. You just have to watch out for the read and write speed and their class. As long as it’s 90MB/s and above it should be fine for 4K recording.
Hey guys, newbie poster here. I have a few questions about this deal:

Firstly, is the memory card reliable and will it be suitable for use in a Nintendo Switch

Secondly, is MyMemory a good and secure source for purchasing memory cards.

That's all thanks.

Mymemory is the only place you can trust if you want to buy memory cards. I have been using them for long time now. I ordered it because it’s a pretty good deal. Reviews are good. But in case anything happen you can return it and ask for replacement.

Due to the price, Heat and Positive write-ups on Trust Pilot and on Google, I've taken the plunge and got it ordered. Cheers for the reply.

Oh and take this heat OP!

Phison don't make flash memory. They are a flash controller designer, and a pretty big player. As they activity partner with Toshiba the likelihood is this product contains Toshiba flash. The actual controller was probably manufactured by UMC. Their SSD controllers are manufactured at TSMC.

If the product is any good, I have no idea.
Thanks!
Ordered, at £23 sheets cheaper than the Samsung equivalent, hopefully this will be spot in for my boy’s Nintendo Switch. Thanks to the OP
256gb, U3, A1 and 5 year Warranty for £27 delivered is a no brainer!

Thanks OP ordered!!

The reviews on Amazon for this specific card are also positive.

Likewise, I'll upgrade the 200gb card in my SanDisk sansa clip zip player, not that I need to

i almost got it, but i changed my mind
2(128gb). =256gb
2 x 128gb = 256gb
2 x £17 = £34
for the thing to be a deal I'd go for <£23
I been on here long forum enough to good deal, and reckon could be better
but better must come
