This is written on the bottom of the 256GB page: "Be More Productive with Fast Transfer Speeds up to 180MB/s - with an appropriate 180MB/s card reader (B08556917V)"
So yeah, those faster speeds will only work when reading and writing data from your PC. It will peak only at V30 speeds when using on a camera for example. (edited)
