Write speeds are verging on criminal on 90% of flash drives (this included), you gotta love how they flash the read speed around

Agreed (write up to 20 MB/sec) but this is one hell of a cheap price

I have had one of these for about 2 years, copies loads of data and still hasn't corrupted or failed. Great little stick, works well as fat32 and ntfs when using as a boot installer usb too.

It aint a bad price and to be fair 20MB write isnt the worse of the lot, but im basing this on my hmm 10 year odd old play.com 16gb flash drive, which was the cheapest at the time £16 and this can get around 16MB/s i believe. You would think the minimum by now would be far exceeding this.

Agreed, but this is post brexit, and in reality does it matter? Ok, yes if you're booting from it, but most people I think would be just storing stuff on it. Not like SD and microsd, they won't be directly writing to it in (for example) cameras and phones

I concur. I have had one for around the same time and use it all the time. Overall pretty quick and has been 100% reliable. I'd definitely buy another.

I would hope for more write speed. The simple reason being the bigger sticks get, naturally the larger the files I want to copy onto them. It seems a sturdy enough stick if you aren't in a rush or deal with smaller files though.

£74.15. Expire please
