Standard SATA - the only thing to deal with in a PC case is mechanical. Some really small form factor cases have 2.5" bays, so it really depends on your case. You would most likely need a 2.5" to 3.5" adaptor to give it a good mounting...

Would be no way of telling if its new or customer return. Is this how everyone elses is arriving can't even see the 9mm plate people have mentioned previously.[Image]

Don't know if you are trolling, but the 9mm plate is clearly in that picture - it's the black ring sitting on top of the drive. Either Amazon are reducing waste or you got an OEM drive. Retail drives come in a printed box complete with picture. You aren't missing much.
Heat OP btw!
Can anyone tell me how this compares to an adata su800 256gb ssd in terms of performance?
Nearly bought this as an upgrade, but my laptop uses an M.2 drive

ebuyer.com/821…BwE

Is that the new format?

Pretty sure I have space for an SSD in the laptop too, but wouldn't want to overheat the laptop. It's only a HP one, nothing expensive. I know it says 'no heat generation', but that's the SSD. Would it cause the laptop to work harder, heating it up?

Where can I get screws from to add this as a secondry drive in a laptop please?
What a steal.
