Great price.

Dont like indesit, don't like ikea, but gotta be worth a punt at this price! Especially with the guarantee.

I also don't like Indesit, it's a bad quality budget brand. Lot of comments on the internet that this is a Whirpool though, why does Bumpydog thing its an Indesit?

Can't find the warranty info either?

I can confirm 100% that this dishwasher is not a Whirlpool, its an Electrolux.

So if its an Electrolux, more of a bargain. Still not high up on my preferred list, but gotta be better than indesit. Even without the 5 year warranty, id be tempted if in the need of a new one. Probably cheaper than getting a broken one repaired.

What's the point of spending money on something you know will spend time being repaired and not in use? Warranty or not you get what you pay for in this world.

I hear Ikea kitchens are a different dimension than the traditional BandQ ones. you cannot mix the together as they won't fit each other, please check b4 buying. love you

Can it be used as a freestanding dishwasher? Sorry, but it don't know anything about dishwashers!

Do you? Where's your evidence? A disputed brand name is not evidence.

Cheerio then - by your logic there is no such thing as a bargain so I presume we're not going to see you on HotUKDeals any more.

we bought an Ikea integrated fridge freezer after years of 'american style' fridges. I have to say it's appalling quality and I would never do it again

None in wednesbury would have took a punt at that price !
Rang and they don't shift stock around from other stores either!

True, but all dishwashers are standard widths, 45 or 60 cm.

doesn't seem to have a delay timer. shame

mixed reviews over the internet. Some last 2 years some broke down after couple of weeks.
Hmm...
I think its worth it for 125£ but from other hand - is it worth risking flooding your neighbours for 125£?
Decisions decisions.

Technically yes, But count that these dont have a top, so to speak, just bare insulation. No problem if fitting under a worktop. The sides also can be unfinshed. It will be necessary to put a correct size cupboard door on the front, as the dishwasher door is not stiffened and would be broken very soon without. Also would not be finished below the front door as there should be the plinth. There is no real difference between freestanding and integrated except the outside finish. If it will sit between two kitchen cupboards it will be fine as that is how they are meant to be. Just count that you MUST add a front door panel, preferably one that goes with the existing kitchen. Sat in the corner on its own would look very wrong.

IF it's plugged into an accessible socket AND it continues the programme after the power is interrupted (manual doesn't provide that useful information) then you can use it with a plug-in timer.

It's not an Indesit. It's a rebadged Beko DW600.

Look to be OOS everywhere I tried.

No... no it's not. Compare the two closely.

Indeed it is a WHIRPOOL!

what type of choice do you have for the front door ? just trying to weigh up this against a £220 zannusi from john lewis ?

Bought the DW45 45cm slimline back in ~2007, and can confirm that was a whirlpool. We've had Whirlpool out to fix it a couple of times.
Looks like 60cm is also Whirlpool.

Shame the DW45 isn't discounted, as I'd stick on in the garage for spares

The door for the DW60 should be just a standard Ikea 60x57cm door I believe (someone confirm?), of which there are many choices.

Obviously things might have changed since then but just for interest, how are the racks holding up - any rust?

Not its not a Whirlpool! Whirlpool do not prouduce any built in dishwashers for IKEA any more. Its an Electrolux!

What a cracking spot, have some HEAT !!!

Just been up to the Ikea Leeds and they had 16 left, i've just got one, from what i know they measure the same as a standard appliance in a standard fitted kitchen. Checked the measurements against an intergrated washer i got the other day and it's slightly smaller.

If it's wrong Ikea let you take it back in the first 90 days!!!

If you're able to, I would be interested to know what the power consumption is from the rating plate, which, according to the instructions, is on the right hand side of the door. Thanks.

That's very true.
I paid £300 for a 50" Plasma Telly and guess what?
Aye, I got it!

Bumpydog had problems with the units seal and Ikea got Idie to come out.
Bumpy rang Indesit and not Whily or elex and Man arrived
Also Idne elex etc etc come under the same repairer.
The Guy cut the seal to fit but as Usual left the bits on the floor so he was asked very strongly to leave.

I know. They don't, but it's a Whirpool and maybe that's why it's so cheap. Their other dishwasher is an Elux/Zanussi though.

The stick will be quite low as Ikea is changing all of its dishwashers. One of the new ones will have a beam of light that shines onto the floor to tell you what part of the cycle it's at, gimmick yes, but I thought I'd share the info.
