Thanks for that. I’ve been looking at these DDR5 builds this weekend. Is the BE QUIET cooler for the CPU the most recommended? What would be the best suggested Case for cooling and quietness?

    Price/Value terms against the others.

Palicomp does offer a management deal at £88, knock it back and refuse and they will offer it at  £68, it does involve a lot of rubbish, but usual its either a cooler jump to the BQ or PSU jump, (if its not BQ pitch for it)

management deal includes an extra warranty and a GPU boost of the model too.
so it means its £28 if u get at least one aspect u desire into it, plus it means u can go in for the kill and try n beat any site price for any alts.

if u type the name of the F15M into youtube there is a chap who does a lot of reviews, i can't tag him as hotukdeals believe we are Best mates lol.

other than that Have a review check on the airpop (good-looking case) and Be Quiet cases.

I am looking at buying this with the 3080 promo, B760 4800Mhz promo and Lian-Li dynamic black case.
Do I need to add fans to this or are they included? Also is the standard heatsink/fan CPU cooler enough for this?
    Avatar
Also, the promo for the B760 motherboard and DDR5 ram seems odd because that motherboard doesn't look to be compatible with DDR5 ram

Very nice! Thank you for all the graft Sarden

Your posts read like lines of code, no idea what's going on

I'm looking really close at these as its around my budget and max I wanted to spend for a 'decent' newer PC. It's just sooooo easy to get caught up in the next level GPU etc for extra money, when in reality it either not needed or too expensive to justify.

    Thanks great work Sarden

I need to make a decision and bite the bullet

That's true, very easy to go 'if i'm getting a 4070, why not a 4080'? reality is my laptop 3070 runs everything i'm throwing at it near max settings at 1440p, and that price difference is massive!

Sounds so messed up, let's take a Ryzen build into an intel 12400F build then hop-skip to a 13th gen while we are at it lol.

    # CoCo the clown build,

    • INTEL I5 13400F CPU
    • ASUS B760m MOTHERBOARD
    • 16GB DDR5 4800 <-> 32GB 5200 DDR5
    • TX550 GOLD
    • WD SN770 NVME
    • COUGAR MESH
    • RTX 3060

    Open this: AMD ADRENALIN
Upgrade to the 12400F/B660 at +30
Upgrade to the S70 at +40
    Upgrade to TX550 at +25
Upgrade to cougar mesh at +36 (or other alt)

    =806 = add to basket.

    Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 16GB DDR5 4800Mhz 140
    Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 32GB DDR5 4800Mhz 200
    Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 32GB DDR5 5200Mhz 225

    13400F/DDR5/B760 (550w)
    3060: 16GB 4800mhz £946 | 32GB 48000mhz £1006 | 32GB 5200mhz £1031

    -------------------------------------------------------------

    • INTEL I5 13400F CPU
    • ASUS B760m MOTHERBOARD
    • 16GB DDR5 4800 <-> 32GB 5200 DDR5
    • TX550 GOLD
    • WD SN770 NVME
    • COUGAR MESH
    • RTX 3060TI
    • windows

    Open this: AMD VELOCITY
Upgrade to the 12400F/b660 at +30
Upgrade to the S70 at +20
    Upgrade to TX550 at +25
Upgrade to cougar mesh at +30 (or other alt)

    =905 = add to basket.

    Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 16GB DDR5 4800Mhz 140
    Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 32GB DDR5 4800Mhz 200
    Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 32GB DDR5 5200Mhz 225

    13400F/DDR5/B760 (550w)
    3060ti: 16GB 4800mhz £1045 | 32GB 48000mhz £1105 | 32GB 5200mhz £1130

Do all the changes on site within the main builds to get it to the spec, and then backdoor the 12400F/B to 13th gen ddr5 into the same basket.

    WARNING
its good vs other prebuilt sellers 3060/3060Ti via 13th gen, however, u are losing a GPU for the cost compared to my alt deals. (edited)
    Avatar
That’s amazing! Are there any backdoor methods for improving the GPU as well?

I am in a dilemma, I prefer pc gaming over console, yet find pc games more prone to crashing or going wrong.
    Avatar
meeh.. depends a lot on how "clean" you keep your overall system in terms of its overall management.

    that's not a dilemma, it's a fact.

If you're looking at the 4070ti I'd try and get the 13600K over the 13400F if possible. 13400F is known to be a bit of a bottleneck at 4K, whilst the 13600K should be perfectly fine for it (I saw increases of 20+fps on Spiderman Remastered ultra settings).

My build has run everything fine and no regrets, just glad I cancelled my first order and upgraded the CPU. Makes sense when you're already spending this much! DDR5 RAM is decent but I don't think it would make as much of a difference (at least over the next few years) but that's something I missed out on so can't speak from experience (just research).

i get where u coming from, if u go for it, go for it, i get it.
    problem is atm, "sources".
this 13400F DDR5 is miles cheaper than other then other prebuilders,
    # Looking at palicomps CPU data, the gap between the CPU (on ddr4) section at the bottom,

its a gap of £115 so it's a good suggestion from 13400F to 13600K but will have to be a personal pitch for DDR5s.
palicomp should of done a B760/DDR5 booster alone without being tied into the CPU so more flex, but i presume they have more of one than the other. (edited)

Prices aren't really coming down. I got a 3070 system from awd for £1200 about a month after the 3000 series was released. Won't buy until a 4070ti comes down to around £1200 too. Guess I'll be waiting for a while

13400f wins over 5800x3d mainly because its the of the end of life motherboard . I have 5800x and would have swapped for the intel psu and board in a heartbeat.

Im still delighted with the omen 3080 - 5800x combo from amazon , ive still not got any heat issues even cyberpunk. Believe me i would have pushed it to the max just to return to amazon if their was a system that even interested me . Full rtb guarantee unlike palicomp very average cover unless u want to add more moolah .

I think 3080 12GB does very good against 3090 ti and even 4070ti without raytracing on (edited)

BEWARE !!!! I spent £1400 on a pc for my son from Palicomp last week (deal on here) and the pc keeps crashing. We have tried all of the online fixes and still no good. Had to wait to phone Palicomp Tech Support (they don't work weekends!!) until today - only to be told that "...since the pandemic, Palicomp no longer have a Tech Support phoneline". £1420 and a broken pc !!!

    Return it for a refund?

Looks like Palicomp have changed things. No more DDR5 options on the Hellfire or Adrenaline and the Velocity is gone

If someone has the time can you please help me build a deal on this website I would like 13700 Intel, 4070ti and 32gb ddr as a minimum but I don’t want “conflicts” or “these two components don’t go well” situations. thank you in advance, I’m open to suggestions and would like to spend under £1,800 if possible

Offer pulled because of motherboard issues apparently?
    Update available soon.
