Voted hot . I have 2 of these which I use as usb sticks with caddy . I bought cheaper on eBay with eBay discount code but with pound in the lows due to Brexit this is a good deal .

Remember that post
This should've dropped lower by now. Could be had for this price regularly since February

Perhaps - but i am starting to see *some* (especially expensive) stuff start to slowly trend up in price lately, possibly a rather ominous sign of things to come. We will see.

Cold. Not 720p.
This has received a bad review on storagereview.com.

here: Intel SSD 660p Series Review

Saying that the price isn't bad so if you're not looking for performance, which most m.2 ssd would probably want, then this may be for you.

Me and you keep popping up on the 660p deals

I'm going to grab a 2TB one of these at some point I think. Relegate all the mechanical to NAS and 2.5" on ebay/markets. All storage in neat cards tucked away on the motherboard

It's priced like 2.5" sata and is about 3x faster. There's much better but not for anything like this sort of money.

Spend more on a boot NVMe, this as a secondary instead of 2.5"... perfect fit for that sort of setup.
Got the 1tb version of this and it destroys my mx500 for roughly the same price. Not the best Nvme by a long shot but definitely faster than any SSD i've got.

As 720, 1080p? Stands for progressive (I.e. one frame after the next as opposed to interlaced).

I watched a YouTube video (mentioned in this thread) and for those of TL;DR (too long didn't read the entire post or watch the entire video..) it says that yes, benchmark tests aren't great with this m.2 drive but in real world tests (loading GTA5 online from scratch) it's as fast as the fastest Samsung 970pro. So a definite steal of a price here. Goes against what i said originally, yes.

seems theres not much in it in different drives, and he is a good reviewer"
