Not being wireless is a bit frustrating but decent price!
Damn, thought this was touchscreen.
sold out just as I finished entering my details
Out of stock. There’s. 64gb ssd one there for slightly less though.
Is this a good price? What do these normally retail for?
Bare in mind that the i5-2410M is a dual core mobile CPU from 2011. But for this price? Yeah not a bad deal at all.
Great price for the spec - but hate all in ones, but at this price looks good

Struth. £7 for n-rated? Should be nearer £2/£3 ex-UK. Your £7 ex-UK buys AC-rated, random example from 2sec search result ebay.co.uk/itm…643 and no doubt there are lower cost options ex-UK.
Great price - got the 64GB for £112.50 delivered. Not as good a bargain as the 256GB SSD, but still a great bargain!

I picked one up last week - arrived very quickly and better than advertised. Stated "Faulty Network Port, Faulty Brighness Button (Brightness Can Be Changed In Windows)?"?

Network port works fine (gigabit) as does the brightness button.

Pretty decent as a second screen.

Seconded, can't fault these guys. Bought one of these before Christmas. Well packaged, better than described condition, a very nice bit of kit for the money.

Do you think there are any expansion possibilities with the system? For example, does it appear that you could take the case apart to add extra memory or a bigger SSD?
I wasn't so lucky with my order; arrived smashed up courtesy of DPD. I missed the delivery not realising you could do parcel tracking without giving mobile number. Refund a bit slow but completely excusable since probably no one in over Christmas to New Year period. As far as I can see all communication must be done by email which worked fine for me; all friendly and efficient.

Most folk seem happy with their purchase though one of the earlier hotukdeals for this (41 comments at moment) has a post where buyer, while conceding was good value, thought screen wasn't very good. Luck of draw perhaps; think I would have been disappointed.

Not really up on such things but thought, if you have a decent monitor, the £160 HP workstation they have at the moment looks decent value.

I haven't had a really close look, but can't see any real possibility to get into the innards easily.
If this one is the same one I received, it was custom built for Hackney Community College (there is a illuminated logo on the front) and I doubt they wanted people opening up and walking off with their RAM & hard drives

OK, thanks for the info.

Same spec but has Processor: Intel i5 2540M 2.6Ghz
Received mine. Looks a nice unit. Fast enough and good condition. No obvious way to get in for upgrades.
Mine is really noisy though - no way it can sit on the desk and be usable unfortunately. Sounds like there is a problem with the power supply or cooling fan...have asked for a return.
Anyone else noticed this or is it just mine?
Been having an issue with mine. Performance slows to a crawl whenever doing any task that taxes the ssd. I've ran tests and it reaches a maximum of 19MB/s so it's constantly at 100% usage most of the time. Is this the same with others or is mine just faulty? I've contacted them a few times now via email and contact form on the site but they haven't replied.
I've also had no response...
How did you test the max data rate? I've been trying to update mine for two days and it keeps freezing/slowing drastically. In task manager the CPU & memory look fine but disc is at 100% pretty much all the time.

p.s. GNKelly07 - tried your fix but has made no difference at all... :-(

I just tested using Crystaldiskmark. 125MB/s read and 19MB/s write...not looking good.
205MB/s Read 163MB/s Write

Fans can get a little noisy at times but tolerable. Always an audible hum when idle but it might just be that I'm too used to fanless designs.
205MB/s Read 163MB/s Write

Thanks Aurelias...clearly something wrong with mine then.

What's the health status on yours? Mine has 9349 Power On Hours with Total Host Writes of 84TB.
Although less of an issue with modern SSDs, I recall reading on the earlier failure rates with regards to older SSDs if written too often.

I can't find any information on this brand of SSD (Forsee) though. If it was custom built for Hackney College, then it should be robust enough for that environment.

Not sure - it's back in the box now...but mine is a Biwin SSD, different make?

Yeah, that's about the speeds i'm getting with mine too. Which computer did you get? My SSD was the 64GB version and it's not a foresee, like Aurelias'. Can't remember the brand off the top of my head.

I've sent yet another email and no response. If I don't get a reply soon, i'm going to get paypal involved to see if that does anything.

Yes, I got the 64GB. It completely ground to a halt doing anything, so over the weekend I did a complete reinstall of Win 10 with all updates (and nothing else added), then tested again - 13MB/s write!
Was going to reinstall windows too but looks like that won't fix the problem then :\ And yeah, mine is the Biwin SSD aswell. If I could figure out how to open the damn thing, I could replace it with another msata SSD I have laying around. Atleast then i'd know it's the SSD at fault and not the motherboard or sata chipset. I did find some information about a recall back when these boards came out here. As ours is HM65, I don't think they're affected but I have no way of testing. I've asked itzoo for information on the motherboard or even just info on how to access the internals but no replies. They replied within 10 minutes when I asked for tracking information but haven't replied to any of my messages since I mentioned there was a problem with the pc.

Magnets! No wonder it's not obvious....didn't try just pulling it apart!

Thanks for this! Would never have guessed myself. Glad to see there's space for 2.5'' drive inside so i've installed an SSD there and currently cloning the existing drive over. Also looks like it's a standard processor and not soldered to the board. Will have to look into upgrading at some point. CPU-Z stated a free dimm slot but that isn't the case. Only 1 on the board. But there's a mini pci-e card slot free so going to add in a wifi/bt card once it arrives. Hopefully the SSD fixes the issue i've been having because it's a lovely machine otherwise.
Anything having problems with getting USB 3 speeds? Pretty sure there are USB 3 ports because of the blue slots but can't find USB3 host controller in the device manager.

Tried to search for new drivers/delete existing so that Windows will locate new ones but to no avail. The Intel 5 /C200 Series doesn't have native support for USB3 so I have find third party drivers if I can work out what make it is.
How many are returned and how easy to arrange .
