It's from the warehouse deals, most likely will be an unopened return. Nothing to worry about.

TRAY: $242.00 Intel® HD Graphics 4600

It's a good price - cheapest i can see is around £150

Cheap but not sure about the used, not voted either way

Don't get it expecting a great clock, a lot of these returns are people not happy with the over clock they get :P

These will be people returning due to the silicone lottery on the early haswell's
Don't expect to get a good overclock on them/ low temps, the reason haswell came out with a refresh ( 4690k ) was to address the TIM.

Personally this I feel is a good price if you don't intend to overclock.
For me I paid the extra and went for the Devils Canyon and it is running a mild overclock of 4.1ghz @ 1.1v idle temp 17 degrees / load 52 all on a cheap arctic freezer 7.

I was going to pick up something like the 4440 and not worried about oc'ing - those days are over for me. Thanks again to the op.

still crud TIM on DC, you want solder like the Haswell E.

No need, my temps are awesome, so no, don't need solder or delid

Respect to you guys because reading this thread shows me how little I know about computers. Is this English?? Heat for the knowledge being displayed alone!

(Hot tho. Good CPU, good price. I'd be tempted if I was building new right now)

I really wouldn't use passmark as a reference unless synthetic benchmarks tickle your plums. Seeing the FX 8350 above it could give people a very wrong impression of this CPU :^)

Agreed, more for info really, for the less geek among us ;-)
