Seems a pretty good price for an i5 4670k works out £154.95 and the motherboard that comes with it is meant to be very good too.

Wow, nice value here. Bought myself the bundle that was at £359.99 but it came with a Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3, 8GB 1600MHz RAM, 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6GB/s and 4670k.

Yeah they have some really good offers on atm. If you dont need to sli the Gigabyte mobo looks like a great deal especially with the hard drive and ram being so cheap!

Got this combo myself for about the same price. quality motherboard, some serious overclocking ability and great BIOS!

nice find

I built a machine with the same combo in October. I'm very pleased with it. Stuck a Noctua NH-D14 fan on it and I get very low temps of 20-25°C desktop low utilisation and 40-45°C under load.

It's overclocked to 4.0Ghz and unlike all my previous builds which I had to manually set the overclock up, this board does it all for you.

Great combo, great price.

Anyone noticed that prices have gone up on these, graphics cards, some Motherboards etc since December?

I got this processor plus an Asrock z87 pro3 for £225 less than a month ago. And a 7870 2gb graphics card for £120..

Edit - I hadn't at the time of posting logged into Scan to remove the Sansecure at £8.61

I have to vote cold on this one, £1.83 cheaper elsewhere but cold only if you use Pixmania for the cpu and morecomputers for the motherboard. I trust morecomputers but not Pixmania. On the other hand, I know people who feel the same way about Scan. Using Amazon for the CPU and morecomputers for the motherboard, I make the money saved at Scan £1.80 after shipping.

Is there a direct link? I can't seem to find it..

I just finished my new build last night. i5 4670K + MSI Z87M Gaming(its a mini ITX board with the same features). BF4 on ultra settings without any hiccup. I saw stuff I never saw before lol.

Think you save like £20, better than buying full price. But not something I would go with, much prefer AMD FX8320 as a budget CPU.

Many thanks to the OP. Ordered last night and got some other deals from scan at the sametime. MSI Radeon 280x for £226.79, which seems a fair price as well.
