Cheapest I've seen the Non-K for a while, however the website says no confirmed delivery date for now. 1% cashback available from Quidco as well.

Wait until 2050 when we will have quantum computers which will be able to predict any hacks and avoid them by moving to a different quantum reality where hopefully RAM prices will be cheaper.
Now with 30% less power!

Very good price if they actually deliver!
BT Never get the stock.

Before purchasing this you need to at least wait for the B360 motherboards to be released as buying a Z370 board for a non-OC'able chip is frankly a waste of money.
I'd hold back and see what Zen+ brings in April.
If you're able to hold off upgrading perhaps consider waiting until the second half of the year. There are talks of the Z390 chipset being released with 8 core CPU support.

Reality of the performance decreases are significantly less. It's a good 'meme' but overblown.

With turbo on all cores it can match the 8700K, so for gaming its not going to have a noticeable difference.

Also note, you can overclock all cores to 4.4Ghz (as I have) by setting your BCLK to 102.3Mhz. Gives you a little extra performance for free!

Note this is different to normal overclocking which is done by increasing multipliers and cannot be done on non-K chips.

I heard talk of a 30% drop I had no idea that was the performance after the new kernel patch
