also applies to qualified Hexus members, and some v early HUKD members.
MOQ for free delivery = £23 inc VAT so on its own best treated as a filler item.
Scan were banging these out at just over £8 via a TO offer in early Sept, but still a good deal at the current price and worthy of heat.

If you dont mind 2nd Hand, try here:

I've ordered 2 and they have worked fine and been very clean.

Great suggestion at CEX, have not thought of this, however the Prescott RK80546PE0721M is £10 so only slightly better than the SCAN price (when with free delivery).

lookie you can buy a cpu a quid, on cex wonder if that means you could build a pc for a tenner lol

I needed the slower 2.8Ghz P4 (533 Bus version), cos of the motherboard and RAM speed limitations of my old works computers (no 800Mhz bus, and RAM wasn't PC3200). For £6, definitely was worth removing the god awful old style 2.6Ghz Celeron that was installed in the machine previously.

You need to spend over £20 to get the free postage from Scan (I have the previous lifetime offer).

Obviously,a new CPU is preferred if you can get the free postage.

The only problem with CEX is that they often have the same CPU at different prices on their site - its worth putting the CPUs into price order.
