You do realise that that is a special form factor board for AIO PCs not standard desktop cases - it doesn't have standard ATX power socket for example?

You can get a power adapter for cheaper than an ATX power socketed motherboard, about £20.

Or you can get an ATX power socketed motherboard such as this amazon.co.uk/dp/…-21

Sold out.

I knew it was a cracking deal! I'll expire it.

Can anyone recommend an atx motherboard for this?

Mini-ITX which takes ATX power etc - amazon.co.uk/dp/…JI/

apologies if question seems obvious, I have a Coolermaster Elite case with a fairly old Pentium E2200 2.2hz / 4GB Ram and looking for upgrades on a budget!

No need to apologise, we are all here to help each other.

That's a great motherboard for this but to be honest, the G630 will only be about 50 to 75% quicker than the E2200. It will use less power though. Mind you... for £60 that's not a bad upgrade, I'm pretty sure you have DDR3 so you can use that ram in the new motherboard

If you don't have an SSD, this would be the best bang-for-buck upgrade. It won't make games run quicker or encoding run faster but will make your whole system more responsive. It will transform your PC.

Unfortunately only DDR2 @ 400Mhz - so adding 4 or 8GB of 1600Mhz then an SSD later will all add up I guess!

Thanks for the help!

Don't do it then. Better to save up for the next round of bargains.

Add an SSD now though, you won't regret that. Even if it's only a 128gb one for a boot drive and keep all your non-programs on your current HDD.

I grabbed the motherboard from ebay £20 delivered (new) and 2 x 4GB DDR3 for £46 from OCUK.. should be fine.
I'll look at getting the SSD now and look forward to putting it all together!
Thx

Wow, great deal. I'm sure you'll get a few pennies for the old stuff too. People always need direct replacements for broken bits.

Enjoy!

Despite being called "Celeron" this effectively replaced the G630. It's basically identical in speed to the G630.
