Absolutely cracking deal, one of the highest performing SSD at one of the lowest £/GB. 1.8" is an awkward size for most so it's probably easiest just to double sided tape it in your case.

Came two days late for me, just spent £170 on a X25-M 80GB, sods law.

Not expired, doesn't kick in for a couple of hours. Doesn't seem like a terrible deal - although there have been some issues with the latest Intel drives, I heard they've all been recalled for firmware issues. This seems to have a pretty slow write speed of 70mb/s too compared to a lot of the more recent SSDs.
It's also not encouraging that this model has been deactivated on Newegg and there are no review for it on there. Still, if you were looking for this particular one then it's gotta be a good deal for the price.

just to save some people some disappointed: 1.8inch SATA drives do not use the same connectors as 3.5inch and 2.5inch SATA drives. Unless your notebook (or other device) actually has a 1.8inch SATA connection then you will need a 1.8inch SATA to 2.5inch SATA adapter!...

Looks closely at this second image. In the caddy is a 1.8inch SATA Samsung SSD, notice how the SATA data+power connecting edge is not as wide as the one on the other side of the green PCB...

I don't think these are the latest G2 drives? They are silver in colour. With relation to the firmware issues, those drives were recalled and the problem has been rectified.

Not the highest transfer speeds, but these have IOPS and random reads that blow all other SSDs away.

Still 28 in stock, someone un-expire this!
