any charger will charge non rechargables, but your risking leaking/explosion. plus they could only charge maybe 2 or 3 times

this is overkill for aa/aaa but if you run 18650 battery's (most e-cigs) then this is perfect

Excellent just ordered 4 X 18650 batteries ( 2600mha confirmed ) and presently only got a cheap crappy charger that came with the same cheap crappy batteries so this will go well with the new batteries. Heat from me

You need to put £2.99 delivery charge in the title

You need a special charger to recharge primary cells, I nearly built one once from a electronics magazine design, it used biased AC pulse charging. Apparently it is only really successful if the batteries are only partially discharged and you don't leave it too long before recharging them.

This charger is completely unsuitable.

My Lion charger cost me about £2, although it only does 1 cell at a time. I use one of these => dx.com/p/t…797#.V11ZwKK1FQI replaced the charge resistor to reduce the current and mounted it in a plastic battery holder and powered with an old mobile phone mini usb supply.

For NiMH I recently got the 7dayshop charger that looks like a la-crosse knock-off, which has a capacity test mode and a discharge-refresh mode to recover lost capacity:- 7dayshop.com/pro…127
