I assume they mean its the same as most SATA SSD's @ 520mb/s
Good drives if you need to use an m2 slot, but i would personally avoid m2 unless they are at least 1gbps and stick with cheaper SSDs.

Still a good price mind, even for a 512SSD,

This is an M.2 SATA SSD as opposed to an M.2 NVME SSD which can be much quicker if the computer/laptop supports NVME.

kept saying that in algebra
Thanks been looking for a decent priced 512gb M.2 SSD to put in my new Intel Nuc - this should do the job nicely.
Also, can use with an enclosure and it can be a good external SSD to speed up xbox one or PS4 games... When I get a cheap NUC, might use it in that instead.

Also, mine came to £76.66 including shipping.

its a great price for this size drive - you should still have a free sata slot if you want another drive
Ordered thanks OP
Cracking price for the size.

Cold, not nvme

NVME is double the price and the difference in the real world is very little

Is there a advantage of these over standard SSD’s? Speed specs and prices appear similar.

The only difference from 2.5” SSDs is the form factor.
Price seems too good... but having trouble finding actual reviews for this model. A lot of the reviews on Amazon are for different form factors etc...

Agreed. I cancelled my order last night and went for a 1TB WD for £178. 5 year warranty and an age of reputation. Considering my wife’s last M2 from adata died suddenly and she lost her stuff, I didn’t want to risk it for her again.
