If you are on a tight budget should you even be considering buying such expensive gear?

I buy most electronics on interest free. Could afford them but I'd prefer to just see 100 out my bank every month to budget it rather than doing it all at once
Apple are smoking something with their pricing at the moment. Shame as it’s priced me out of being a loyal Apple fan. I am sure I can’t be alone in thinking this.

Great deal but worth noting that most of their Mac lineup is due an upgrade and rumour is this week or at an event in October.

So will this still be available then?
After sales care is shockingly bad these days.

Yes, I took it personally and I won't be buying any big ticket items from them ever again.

Some people use Macs for work, etc. I could afford if I saved a few months but rather see monthly payments go out. More manageable

The sort of bitter comment people who can't get credit pass off as wisdom

Utter nonsense of course. Real life works very much the other way around.

Completely agree! Its interest free so why not spread the cost and manage your cash flows to your favour!

John Lewis offer a 2 year warrenty on laptops compared to apples 1 year default

they are also usually bit cheaper as apple always charge RRP but JL will price match ie the MBPs are £50 cheaper

Me too, after the pound went down the toilet (thanks MORON brexitiers) the equivalent MacBook pro that cost me £950 in 2013 via the education link now costs £1500. **** that I'll just hold onto my mac for another 5 years, its still going strong.

Exactly - if the prices are competitive or at least equal to everywhere else 0% is a no brainer.

Far too often people come in here preaching about how others should spent their own money.

Enjoy it, you’re a long time in the ground.

Apple seized the opportunity of Brexit to raise their prices. Brexit has not added an extra £600 onto Mac book pros and you surely don’t actually believe that?
guys if you are looking for a mac look on AO as on some models they are doing £250 cash back plus interest free and tcb too
ao.com/pro…spx this is the more expensive one but they have more cheaper ones with the same offers
