Anne Rice wasn't happy about the choice of Cruise as Lestat the vampire.
Dunno if she changed her tune, but I thought he was OK in the role, Im far from a fan of his either.

Just answered ssaying I didn't travel forward in time to read it, thinking you did it today.
No, I didn't actually. She said that at the time the film was released.
If she's changed her mind since, I don't know and care less.

Showing as "Currently out of stock"

Wonder if its one of those where it never comes back into stock

Edit: Just see Amazon have it listed for £5.99 and it's instock

I was in New Orleans, as they finished filming at the plantation house used - the staff there said how friendly Brad Pitt was, and always had time for people, though Cruise flew in and out in a helicopter and spoke to no-one. Maybe Ms Rice had a feel for these personalities.

To be fair, Cruise was currently in the middle of filming & promoting "The Firm", so didn't have time to hang around and chat. He was also busy doing charity work in Los Angeles, and opened a Bagel store whose profits go directly to the homeless. He spent three full days serving customers, chatting with the locals and doing the washing up.

(Of course, I might've just made up all that, to join in with the mindless drivel in this thread... )

What is the point if the sound is Dolby Digital only
