So that is where you have been hiding
Full of sugar . I like the normal cider
£2.79 for just over 3 pints compared to £10+ in your local.

No brainer really if you stopping in!

Heat added.

Turkey! How are yo ? Not seen any posts from you in a while
Fake brand rubbish trying to palm off as a real brand. How people are fooled with this Lidl rubbish is beyond me. Just slap some "brand like" packaging on some budget rubbish and people thin they've got a bargain!
Been on the shelves up in Scotland for a good few months. I have a few at the back of the fridge somewhere and they are pretty decent for the price.
Better than dark fruit strongbow but can't touch the Carling version, the best by far.

Not quite sure why you are ranting on' everybody knows this is an equivalent so what's your beef exactly ?
Haven't tried this Lidl one, but the Aldi one is really nice. I think I prefer it to Strongbow dark fruit.

I think standard price in Aldi is £2.89

Ahem.... How many Gearbest deals did you post?!
This has been in the Dewsbury store for months if not longer at this price and my daughter does like it so for the brand snobs it's got to be ok because she normally turns her nose up if it's not strongbow dark fruit.
As for the deal it is cheaper have some heat
This isn’t new. Aldi do their own version too - Taurus
I like the Lidl Scrumpy one better.Perfect in a glass over ice
I think the issue is in the word cider !! Surely sugary apple flavoured piss is more correct

I mean, it's not like strongbow is exactly a top tier cider maker. I personally think this is great but each to their own, I guess.

Our local Lidl sells a cider called "woodgate" or something similar (it may have been renamed). That stuff is really tasty - just sweet enough but not so bad you can physically feel it eroding your teeth like some of the more "chemicaly" cider. Think its made by Westons, if I remember correctly....
ASDA sell their own version (72p a can) which is quite similar to strongbow

Have you actually tried it?. My son said the Aldi one was disgusting, I liked it more than the strongbow, knowing he was a brand snob I gave him some in a glass and he drank it with no comments and couldn't believe it was Aldi, he now drinks it all the time when his mates aren't around for pre's.

It's odd everyone raves about the fake Lidl brands but when Tesco did the same they get slated. The can is obviously designed to deceive people into thinking they are getting something more premium hen they actually are. If it was dressed up in a Tesco Value can would everyone be going on about it?

I can't find the nutrition facts but Strongbow Dark Fruit is 217 calories/ can

so that's 868 calories per 4-pack - decent energy intake if you are skipping a meal - and 4 of your 5 a day accounted for

I find lidl is generally of higher quality than aldi.

Actually I find that lidl products often far exceed the quality of supermarket branded crap. Just compare ingredients next time and you'll see - not to mention superior taste. Look at the lidl tomato soup vs heinz for example - more tomatoes used in lidl stuff and it tastes more like a home made tomato soup with pieces in it.

Ill just sit back and watch all the mugs spending over the odds for "branded" products.

A fool and his money.
Home bargains sell a dark fruits (blackthorn), it's 4 x 500ml tins for £2.79.
Introductory price? If this was half price then it would be £5.58 for 4 cans... which would make it one of the most expensive 4 packs, even more than the original.

Not really a deal, it's always this price.

4 cans for under £3 i don't think that is deceiving anybody, as for premium hens I was unaware Lidl had branched out into livestock.

Livestock? I think you''ll find that "hen" was a type, unless you've had too many Aldi ciders to understand that...
