These are being discussed on Watchuseek at the moment - still decent prices even with the extra charges for us in the UK. All have the Seiko NH35A Automatic movement.

I've already added that link above, in bold!
Why oh why do Invicta go so chav on branding? Large logo on dial, logo on second hand, name on side of case, often model name on other side of case, on bracelet clasp, on ID of each bracelet link, Etc. It always draws negative comment on what are otherwise decent enough homage watches.

I won’t. However, the point or question remains, why go so long on in your face branding when it’s generally viewed as a negative? I have seen a few modded Invicta watches that have been “debranded” by about 90% and they looked really good.
47mm ?! Jeez
47mm the Grand divers are massive!
I've been looking at buying a Citizen Eco Drive Skyhawk from Amazon.US but am discouraged because you don't get a manufacturer warranty, it's also the same when buying direct from US retailers. It's a risk in my book!

Owned one, its a decent watch if you dont mind the weight of over 200 gram dangling around on your wrist. You certainly know you have got it on

Agree in principle, however at this value and cost saving it’s worth the minimal risk.
I will never buy a watch with mineral crystal but for price not bad
It's heavy, and more chunky on the wrist for the wearer than big. Size wise it wears quite small for 47mm watch. But obviously, it is a still a relatively large watch.

It's because Invicta is a US company selling mainly to the (vast) US middle market. Let's just say that those buyers prefer overstatement to understatement. I like them for what they are - except for their bright yellow boxes which are pretty vomit inducing!

I personally love G-shocks. but mine has Sapphire glass, solar powered, carbon fibre, even has an app where you can sync up and get the most accurate time to the second via internet servers
Ordered one to alienate the snobs!
