Great watch for good price. I bought mine about 2 years ago for about 50 Pounds. It's one of my favourite watches even when some of them are about 25 times more expensive. Great Seiko movement, good Invicta quality and quite optimal 40mm case size which fits perfect on average wrist. Even for about 70 Pounds I would recommend it as it's really good looking Rolex homage watch.

Never owned one but, reviews are really positive for this model.
Good price, good watch, hot. I've got 3 about 2 years ago on a deal found here, £40. I was stupid enough to sell them all for £75, I should have kept one for myself.
These watches are 🔥 🔥 🔥
Brought one very similar to this in 2013, still going strong. Very solid, have bashed it a few times but didn't mark. Reccomened 🔥

Same here, 6 years old, in Quartz. Great quality, not to heavy, size on the smaller side. Perfect daily

I've never quite bitten on one of these, mainly because of the side etching. There's a new invicta model based on the older submariner which I think looks much nicer, and also doesn't have the side etching. If you feel like you might regret buying this one, and you're sitting with your finger over buy like I sometimes do, then holding out for the newer model might be a better bet.

Invicta Pro Diver 31290 Men's Watch - 40mm - not currently in stock but hopefully it will be soon, and with a similar RRP to this I'd hope it would see similar discounts over time.

From an aesthetic point of view i certainly agree with you, one things for certain though it will be no where near as cheap as this.
Hot. Good watch, solid auto seiko movement, and tasteful colour for an Invicta! Too small for my taste though. I wear a 47mm seiko baby tuna normally which seems normal to me now! I got a 42mm Orient Mako II which seems tiny and I don't wear and I don't even have huge wrists.
They are very good watches for the money! Just wished they would drop the Invicta engraving on the case, just looks tacky and spoils a genuinely great value for money watch!
I've got the limited edition Mickey Mouse version of this colour way and note that the bezel is a nice blue but the dial is a deep purple! It works but would've preferred matching colours!
I'm getting one for my son
Yes Invicta watches offer good value for money based on component parts, but that’s where it ends. Zero originality beyond the garish mall watches aimed at the US redneck market and barely a step up from something the Looky Looky man would typically peddle. And then golf course there is that engraving on the case, something never pictured in promo material and invariably fast forwarded past in the freebie reviews on YouTube.

I agree with you on the Invicta marking but nothing else. The watch has a fantastic spec for £73 and in general gets good reviews.

I started my comment saying exactly what you have, that Invicta watches are good VFM.
I am surprised you don’t agree with the lack of originality? No homage (lookalike) watch, by its very nature shows any originality.
As for not agreeing with the garish mall watch comment, that’s Invicta’s bread and butter in the US, load, garish, Chavy watches aimed at the US mall market.

I don't see how selling a watch in a mall can affect the quality of a watch, I will though give you the lack of originalty.

My comment was .... “Zero originality beyond the garish mall watches”. Having acknowledged the VFM, my mall watch comment was solely related to originality.

The 1953 was a huge surprise. Being a flat out vintage Rolex lookalike, Invicta dropped the hour hand symbol, the winged symbol, the in your face second hand counterbalance and best of all ..... the case engraving. It was always gonna sell well IMHO.

Just write to Invicta and tell them not to sell it in the malls and you'll be an happy chappy.

The European and US markets are thankfully somewhat different. The Invicta 1953 would not sell well in a US Mall.
