No problem, been wanting this for weeks and was going to wait for BF but this was too good to pass so I've just ordered too!
Do most monitors have this mount?

Do most monitors have this mount?

Most monitors aimed for office use, or the more expensive ones do. Generally budget monitors don't. Just check the description for a mention of a Vesa mount.

No, most monitors come with a stand that supports it. They are freestanding. So the stand occupies quite a bit of deskspace. Bigger ones a lot of deskpace. Some stands allow you to change the angle of the screen by 90 degrees, if the monitor supports this it means you can look at a lomg documemt without scrolling (for instance). This arm is screwed into your desk so it occupied much less deskspace and allows you to position the monitor wherever you want and you get a very clean desktop,
Ps this arm is gas powered so should be very easy to adjust. You need to check that your monitor does not weigh more than 6.5KG and it's not bigger than 27" (according to the seller)

Very tempted to buy... I've got the cheaper monitor arms (non - gas strut) and they've done a great job, but a pain to adjust, and I've been thinking of replacing them with gas arms, but couldn't justify ~£40 per arm (I need 3!) these, however are dirt cheap for ha arms!
Good price
£12 each for delivery (including click and collect) to Northern Ireland. Amazon slightly cheaper all in

Great deal. Super tempted
Whats better, two of these or one dual monitor arm?
Perfect, just ordered 2 and saved an extra 30p

I would say if you need to move your monitors around a lot, go with two single arms.

Otherwise, if they will be in one place, having a dual arm will save some space for your desk.
I have eyeing this up for a while! What a great find
Me too! I honestly thought it was a price glitch, turns out its just cheaper to buy straight from the supplier
Yes i paid about £25 for mine. Well worth the money. Only difference i can see between this one and the one i bought is mine has a couple of USB ports in the base. Invision are very good products. This is a bargain.
Should be called The Brexit Arm.
'flextention'

It will also probably last 5 years, just like Brexit.
Checked my 27" monitor and it was too heavy for this arm.

What monitor do you have?
Bought this very version on Amazon, to go with the Element Gaming 27" 1440p monitor - I've just attached it to the smaller IKEA Micke desk in my son's room, to free up desk space.

Really well made and lovely, fluid motion - I paid £25ish and was very happy at that price.

The only negative is the clamp puts a fair amount of pressure on the desk top - on cheaply made (hollow, cardboard interior) surfaces like the IKEA stuff, it'll need a couple of wide pieces of decent ply/hardwood to spread the load - not the bracket's fault and entirely down to the quality of the desk.

This is an absolute bargain price!

If you need the option of easily adjusting the monitors (moving the flat to the wall when not in use, for example) then two of these are perfect.

There's also a wall-mounted version of this bracket, which I've bought for my Sim-Rig, for three 27" curved monitors - if your desk is built-in or you need the option of moving them flat to the wall, they're perfect.

I can understand the weight but unsure why this wont work for my 28" Samsung...

I bought a couple anyway as have 2 x 24" Dells that are currently on a twin mount - this is a great deal OP thanks

If it is under 6.5KG and has the right VESA mounth I see no reason why it wouldnt work tbh

5.28kg
I recieved mine this morning.

Its now very easy to adust my dell monitor to any angle and position, although i broke one of the clips while taking off the plastic cable cover at the back and a bit of plastic at the base of the arm
Mine came today. I installed it on my mag321curv MSI monitor. I weighted the monitor before installation and was just shy of 6.5kg so I went for it.

The arm is well put together and the box contains everything. Had to figure out a bit how to install it on my monitor (bc msi doesn't include Vesa mount instructions but it did have the spacers).

I had to adjust with an Allen key all the torque screws to sustain the weight of the monitor. It shakes / vibrates a bit too much, when people touch the desk, but at least maintains position. However, I wouldn't be moving it too much.

Overall for 15 pounds is great but I would argue that around 6kg or less is better.

PS. The msi site puts the monitor at 7.3kg net weight but I don't think this is correct and I believe it refers to all the parts included in the box. I weighted the monitor with and without the stand and it was not 7kg!

Any limitations on screen size apparent?

My monitor is 28" but well under the weight restriction....

Nice review thanks for taking the time to share

My pleasure.
I would say so only as a limitation of rotating the screen as portrait. But who will do that with a 28 screen? (I am sure as I say this someone will jump...)

Overall be prepared to tighten the screws. Invision are open about it and do say that screws have been set up for mid range weight.
Thanks OP, just bought the last one!

Yes! I was really careful taking it off too
Monitor arm for my second screen just arrived today, and i am very happy with mine,

So it is not buttery smooth like my Ergotron LX stand, but to be fair to the invision MX150 the Ergotron (new) costs about 8x more that the £14.50 i spent on this! This will loosen up after a little use anyway.

Also, as an added bonus, the MX150 i have received is a little different than what i was expecting from the pictures i saw online. This one comes with a cut out on the front with a little screw in blanking plate with two snap off peices for 2x USB sockets.

38971727-DdR5X.jpg
So i have only taken this picture as an example, the cable in place in the picture does not fit and I am not willing to hack the cable for this purpose, but i am going to buy a couple of cheap female usb cables, which will need a little carefull modification to the cables moulded plastic with a sharp stanley blade.

This is a great little purchase, thanks again OP!!

Oh and they are back in stock, and still at £14.49!

Absolutely no issue for the 28" screen. Samsung vesa mount placement is terrible at the very top of the monitor but still makes decent clearance from the desk and very happy
