Your monitor will fit on that fine, I have a 34" ultra wide myself. Mine weighs 7kgs without stand. Look at the weight rather than the monitor size.

I had this problem. There is a Silverstone one that will handle the weight and was about £65 from Scan.

Heat for this deal.
These gas mounts are great.
I bought one of these from Amazon for £22.99 in November 2017, so the price is nothing special. However, this is still a cracking deal as this is a great monitor arm for the money.

I have a 27" display mounted on mine and it works just fine. Note that the cable management channels in the arm are not huge, you'll struggle to get any more than power and a single data cable through there.

Please be more specific, on which day and time in November 2017 did you make this purchase ?

£22.99 appeared to be the usual price for the arm, it's great value at this price, but is it a deal? I see a lot of people getting flamed for posting deals for good value stuff at, or close to, it's usual selling price.

Gregorian or Julian, UTC or GMT?
Looks good but my only concern is that the review quality is poor: fakespot.com/pro…150
I had one of these, after 4 month i woke up one morning to find my £500+ monitor had pivoted down hitting the desk and cracked its screen ... Monitor and stand went to the tip.
Anyone knows a good dual monitor stand for up to 27" monitors?

Judging by 400 degrees on this thread, yes it would be a deal at 22.99 too

That's a fair point. Any monitor arm with a gas strut in it has the potential to fail catastrophically. I've seen plenty of expensive arms fail in this way.

In fact anything with a gas strut can fail like this; office chairs and hatchback boot struts are typical examples. There are some gruesome tales on the net of such failures.

staples.com/LG-…610

says mine is 13.9lbs which is 6.3kg

33415091-35HCP.jpgI had it on a wall using one of these and the whole bracket came out and monitor fell into my hands when I pulled it forwards.
if I didnt hold it right it would've fallen straight onto the desk

now its sitting on the stand again.

Which weighs too much? The extra width isn't going to matter, I mean you aren't going to use that in portrait mode!

You never know. Lol. Ultra tall hd space invaders. Lol
Sorry, this is nothing special. I purchased this following stand from eBay May last year for £17 best offer. Seems as if the price is £18 now.

(I had mentioned this stand in another monitor stand deal last year for those who might say I don't share. )

m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tilt-Rotate-Gas-Spring-Single-Arm-LCD-LED-Stand-Desk-Mount-For-17-27-Monitor/222487766899

I have my Asus PG348Q on it and even though it is a bit hefty it just manages to support it if you tighten all nuts and bolts to the max!

It sure saves a lot of desk space compared to the crazy stand that came with the monitor.

Don't you have house insurance?
I too have an X34a. Can anyone recommend a decent desk mount that's not too costly that will we securely hold it in place? Cheers in advance.

When I saw all the positive reviews, first thing was to go to fakespot too.

F for this - tonnes of fake reviews.

If anyone reading this genuinely thinks they are getting a good quality gas assisted monitor arm for £23, think again. Even the amazon basic one is over £100

Go on then how do you fake review a verified purchase. Most used word by reviewers 'monitor', genius. What a bull site.
Just fitted mine. Saves a lot of desk space on my little corner desk by removing the hideous stand that came with monitor.
Seems solid enough. Time will tell...
Thanks OP
